Parking details

All LUSO cars are conveniently located at the ABM Airport Parking lot and are a 6-12 minute walk from both San Diego terminals. If you don’t feel like a quick walk in the gorgeous San Diego weather, UBER and LYFT rides are easily accessible outside each terminal. There is no shuttle.

NO SMOKING // NO VAPE PENS // NO PETS // As per Turo's rules, the car must be returned in the same condition as it was received (interior and exterior). Please return fuel levels/electric battery to original levels.

  • How do after-hours pickups and drop-offs work?

    We provide convenient options for easy after-hours pickup and drop-off. After booking we will contact you with more details.

  • Can I let someone else drive the car?

    Only the person who rents the car is insured to drive the vehicle. If you expect that someone else might drive the vehicle, simply upload their valid driver license to the TURO app. It’s very easy to do. Unfortunately, failure to do this will cause insurance to be void, and you will be personally liable for the full cost of any damage.

  • Need to pick up the car early?

    Simply log into the app and change your pick-up time. Insurance coverage is only valid during the booked time listed on the app. We kindly ask that if you need to pick up the vehicle early that you go into the TURO app and adjust your rental time accordingly. It’s very easy to do. (TURO does not want us to release a vehicle to a renter unless the rental period has started.) Likewise, if you will be late returning a vehicle, you must call and notify TURO at 1-866-735-2901 so that you will be protected with insurance coverage.

  • Returning a car late?

    If you will be late returning a vehicle, you must call and notify TURO at 1-866-735-2901 so that you will be protected with insurance coverage. Please note that sometimes a vehicle has back-to-back rentals and can be going out only an hour after it’s returned. Any late return will lead to a late return fee according to Turo regulations.

  • What if there is damage to the vehicle or I get into an accident?

    Please notify us of any damage or accidents that happen during your rental. We appreciate your honesty and will work with you to solve the problem.

Car was not given as booked. The car I booked was not available and so they said they would put me in a replacement vehicle that is of equal value, but turns out it was a lower model and they did not say anything until I brought it up. In the end the replacement car was available a couple of hours later then expected and a small refund was given. Potentially just a one-off situation but this was my experience and it seems like it could have been handled better.

I think the pickup is really inconvenient because there’s no shuttle and it was a pretty far walk in the cold. It would be really good if the car can be delivered to you at the terminal door.
