Parking details

If you are picking up your rental car from our covered parking lot at 5th South 500 West, Salt Lake City, Utah, a valet will pull the car out in front of the Condo's called the “Parc at Gateway” and will check you in and out from there. This applies to all trips except those at airports, which have special instructions.

Guidelines

Absolutely No Smoking, Vaping or Pets in the vehicle. Make sure you put Premium Gasoline in this Vehicle. We have provided in the glove box cleaning locations for those who haven't prepaid for gas and cleaning. Please we ask you not to Smoke in the car! It really kills any resale value it may have. This car is and always has been equipped with anti-bacteria wipes that kills 99.9% of the germs. Cleanliness is our highest priority in our cars and always has been.  We have a team of detailers on staff, that clean and use the highest level of disinfectants on each car.   • Airport Pick Up and Delivery Options?

Pick Up Airport Curbside We pick you up curbside at the airport and check you in at a parking garage a short distance away from the airport. Pick Up Airport Curbside Shuttle You will pick up car at a private airport parking lot with a shuttle coming to the airport every 10 minutes that drops you directly in front of the car with the keys. Pick Up Airport at Gateway You take a Uber from the Airport and they will drop you off directly at the car on the street west of The Gateway Mall. The car will be waiting for you as soon as you get out of Uber . Pick Up Hotel Valet The keys will be delivered to the hotels front desk. We will communicate via Turo app under messages, whichever option works best for you.
  • Are we Flexible with Miles?
    Yes, if you make prior arrangements before the trip, we will work a better cost for the miles if you figure out your overage before your trip.
  • What should I know about Turo's insurance and how it work?
    You should check with your own personal insurance company and make sure you are covered with or without the Turo insurance program. We have learned that often there are different rules for Turo with your credit card insurance and with your own personal insurance. You need to make sure you are covered. If there is a problem, we will be contacting your insurance company and working directly with them.
  • Do I need to return the car washed and cleaned?
    Yes it needs to be returned clean... Before every rental we have a team that is equipped with anti-bacteria wipes that kills 99.9% of the germs. Cleanliness is our highest priority in our cars and always has been. We have a team of detailers on staff, that clean and use the highest level of disinfectants on each car after each rental. Unfortunately, my first experience with Turo was a disaster. It says I get a cleaning fee waived if I write a positive review, but I'd rather write an honest review to inform the others who are considering using Turo. Communication was going well until I went to the parking lot to pick up the car. The parking lot attendant could NOT find the key under my name. I also gave Jay's name and interesting enough, they had keys under other client's name but couldn't find mine. While I was struggling with the parking lot attendant, funny enough I got a message from Jay saying "looks like you picked up the car." Huh? So I replied to him that I did not pick up the car yet and the parking lot attendant cannot find the key. NO RESPONSE. So I called the number and it directed me to the voicemail. I left a voicemail and finally, he texted me trying to figure out what happened. He asked me to provide the car information that I booked which felt very awkward. Doesn't he suppose to know? Anyhow, it turns out the other client took my car, so I had to take the car left at the parking lot - which was the smaller size. Since I spent already 2 hours getting the car, I was hungry and tired, decided to just take the car. Jay said he will come and switch the car, so I gave him the address and let them know my schedule and went to bed. 1:30 in the morning, he texted me again saying that he can come and switch the car, but in order to do that, he asked me to leave the key inside and unlocked. First, I already told him that I was going to bed and provided my schedule so that he can accommodate. Second, I didn't feel comfortable leaving the key inside the unlocked car. So in the morning, I replied to him that I want to be present when switching the car or I will just use the current car. He said he will check with the other client and I NEVER HEARD ANYTHING BACK. Just the drop off instruction. I don't think this situation was well handled and don't think he had any business service in mind. Unfortunately, this Turo experience was a disaster that made me think that I wouldn't use this service again. Oh, and just one note, the car pick up instruction didn't say there are two parking lots which made me confused. But the drop off instruction clearly stated that there are two parking lots and which parking lot is the correct one. I wish pick up instruction had that clarity as well. I was going to give one start but adding one more because he 'tried' to fix the issue.

They did give her the wrong keys and when I realized it I did everything I could to switch her cars at 1:30am. I did all I could to satisfy her and it wasn’t good enough.
