I want to start out by saying that this was a last minute rental because I had to make a quick trip to Sacramento. So I had to take what I could get. The car is only 2014 but there are lots of little dings and damage all around the vehicle it's very difficult to keep track of all of these damages with pictures. The window on the driver side looks like there has been some kind of shipping tape or something stuck to the inside of the window which left a horrible film. this made it very difficult to see out the drivers window especially when we picked up the car at night and it was raining. But the biggest problem is the pick up and drop off. Fred will charge you $30 for delivery. But he it doesn't tell you until after you reserve the car that you have to pay $10-$12 extra for parking. And by the way he never delivers the car to the renter, he puts it in the parking lot and you have to take a shuttle, find the car then unlock the lock box. Personally for me I like to meet the person who owns the car and be able to talk about the vehicle before I drive off. I don't think you should have to pay for the parking because he wants to leave in a parking lot and not meet the client. I have used several Turo's out of Sacramento airport and the owners have been much more efficient and helpful. If you really need a hybrid car it's OK. But I think there are better vehicles for the price in Sacramento. Also the cruise control doesn't work and the front driver side tire rubs on the body when you turn all the way to the left. That makes a very scary sound.

Ken: your review in my opinion is a little harsh given that I told you in advance cruise control was not available. Also if you read the guest instructions you would have known drop off is using a lock box and there is a charge for parking. You seam to be looking for things to complain about . Perhaps a little compassion would go a long way in your future business dealings. Fred

Fred had great communication, and delivered to airport. Easy pick up and drop off. Couldn’t get cruise control to work.

Fred was a great host and the Prius was awesome. Picking up and returning the Prius was a stress-free experience. Would definitely rent again.

Fred's prius worked great for my 2 week work trip. Great gas mileage, easy to figure out, was able to drop off/pick up right at the airport. Would definitely rent again!
