Description

My Mini Cooper S Clubman is a fun and fast drive for city and road trips. The engine is twin turbo and the transmission Steptronic (i.e. both manual and automatic). The trunk holds 9.2 cubic feet and can be expanded to 32.8 cubic feet when the rear seats are folded. The trunk is easily accessible via barn doors as are the rear seats via a double door on the passenger side (great for families). The fuel economy is 26 mpg for city driving and 35 mpg for the highway which makes it both environmentally friendly and economical to drive. A full tank extends beyond 400 miles. The car stereo has Bluetooth to connect a phone and auxiliary audio-in and USB inputs for listening to music, podcasts or audiobooks. Cables are provided in the middle armrest. There is also a charger in the glove compartment for regular devices like laptops to be charged while driving. The car is equipped with a roof rack with straps for 1-2 surfboards and has one child booster seat .

Faqs

  • How do I unlock the car?

There is lockbox hanging on the back of the car, under the license plate containing a key that will open the driver door. Once the car is rented, you'll receive further instructions on lockbox code and how to start the car.

  • How do I pay for toll fees?

There is a FasTrak in the car, right under the rearview mirror. Just set it to 1, 2 or 3 passengers to get the right rate and access to carpool lanes. If you are 3 or more people crossing the Golden Gate Bridge you'll only pay $5.00 instead of the standard $7.00 (if using lane #2 and FasTrak set to 3 people). Keep track of your spending and then reimburse via Turo.

  • Where do I return there car?

Return the car to the same place as the pickup. If there are no available spots please park on one of the neighboring streets where there is no parking permit or scheduled street cleaning required, then notify exactly where.

  • What is a 150W Power Inverter?

A Power Inverter is a device that connects into either of the two cigarette lighter sockets (by the stereo and in the trunk) that can charge regular devices like a laptop, camera batteries et cetera. It also has a dual USB charging port which makes the total number of USB chargers in the car three.
