Should I watch Instruction Tutorial videos before renting?
Yes!!! You should absolutely watch these short videos because they will guide you on the controls of the car. They are very short and won’t take much of your time.
How will I be charged for charging costs?
All charging costs will be billed to the guest at the end of their trip. I will send an invoice for the total of your trip charging costs and include a screenshot of the timeframes for guest verification.
Should I bring back the Tesla on the same charge level it was given to me?
Yes! Please try your best to return the vehicle at least on the same level it was given to you. For example, if you received the Tesla on a 92% charge level, be sure to return the car on at least a 92% charge.
What happens if I return the Tesla on a lower level of charge than it was received?
All charging done by my team as a result of your lack of proper charging will be automatically subject to a $20 inconvenience fee. We understand that circumstances happen at any given time, so if that happens please be sure to notify ahead of time so that accommodations can be made.
Is smoking allowed in the vehicle?
No. Smoking in the vehicle is prohibited. No exceptions made. Any evidence of smoking in the vehicle will make the guest subject-able to a $150 smoking fee.
Can I rent this car for someone else to drive?
No. Any guest driving the vehicle must register with an active account on the Turo app and be added as a driver to the trip. Any evidence of guests who rent for others or allow others to operate the vehicle without Turo account registration will be automatically subject to a fee.
