The car is an excellent ride! I drove it nearly 1,400 miles in New Hampshire for 10 days in late October. I averaged 26 MPG. The x-Drive (all wheel drive) handles great...and could come in handy if deer (or moose) enter the road way. Don't let the 4cylider engine fool you. It's plenty powerful. The suspension is such that driving this car on New Hampshire's excellent roads is like riding on your own personal roller coaster. I was driving about 4 hours a day and found the seats to be very comfortable. I had the top down whenever it wasn't raining and I had all the warmth I needed. The 3 level heated seats work very well. The forced air heater is very powerful. The highest fan setting was too hot for me for any duration. I kept it at the 3rd fan speed position most of the time. So...it's not too cold for a convertible in late October. And it makes seeing the fall colors much easier. This length of this car is such that parallel parking it on city streets was a breeze. The audio sound system is loud enough, but it was not the outstanding fidelity I was expecting based on my own BMW. The back seats are too small to accommodate adults for a long ride, but would be okay for youth up to about age 12ish. With the top down, the trunk is just big enough for 2 of the larger "carry on" size luggage, plus a couple of backpacks or dufle bags. The car has a wind screen that can be manually installed in the passenger seat area. That helps keep the wind noise down, and keep the car warmer. It also obscures any belongs you may store in the back seat. The top takes about 30 seconds to put up or down. The host has a New Hampshire EZ Pass, so you can expedite passing through the toll areas. I wasn't familiar with all the features of this car in advance and regrettable the host was not able to provide me with an operating manual in advance. There is a manual in the glove compartment if you are willing to read it on your trip. The pickup and drop off is "contact less"...i.e. the host is not able to show you any of the auto's features in person. Uber cost me about ~$70 plus tip each way from Logan airport to the car's location in Pelham, NH. In summary, this BMW is a great driving machine and you'll have an incredible experience driving it. One caution: I made the mistake of specifying 12am instead of 11:59pm as my rental expiration end time (for the purpose of ensuring insurance coverage for the whole day). That was a pricey error. Regrettably the host didn't notice my error until it became a costly correction.

John's response

Thank you for the great review! Although I disagree it’s not the hosts responsibility to make sure guests select the correct day they want for there trip to end that would be the guest responsibility. But I’m sorry that caused you a disruption. Also as the description message as well as my initial communication I stated all interactions are contactless and remote that would of been the opportunity cancel if required a detailed walk around and greet that way you can find a host offering that.

Great car. The heat works great for cool weather top-down cruising. Everything about the experience was great and John communicated very well and very quickly. A+ 5-stars for sure.

Super clean and fun vehicle for your trip. The convertible is perfect for a beach trip or just to cruise around on the back roads. Highly recommend!
