Tesla Model 3 Rental Guidelines 1. No FSD or Upgrades: Renters are prohibited from purchasing Full Self-Driving (FSD) or any other software upgrades during the rental period. Unauthorized purchases may result in additional fees. 2. Use Turo Driver Profile Only: Please use the designated Turo driver profile for all driving. Do not create or use additional driver profiles. 3. Forward-Facing Car Seat: If you require the forward-facing car seat, please notify me at least [insert time, e.g., 48 hours] in advance so I can arrange to have it installed. 4. Charging Instructions: • Use Tesla Superchargers or approved charging stations. Charging costs are the renter’s responsibility. • Return the vehicle with at least 25% battery charge to avoid a recharging fee. • Do not let the battery drop below 20% to prevent range anxiety or damage. 5. No Smoking or Pets: Smoking (including vaping) and pets are strictly prohibited. A cleaning fee will be charged for violations (up to $250 per Turo policy). 6. Cleanliness: Return the vehicle in the same clean condition as received. Excessive dirt or mess may incur a cleaning fee. 7. No Track Use or Off-Roading: The vehicle is not to be used for racing, track driving, or off-road activities. Such use voids insurance and may result in penalties. 8. Key Card/Phone Access: Use the provided Tesla key card or phone app for access. Report any issues with access immediately. Lost key cards may incur a replacement fee. 9. Parking and Tolls: Renters are responsible for all parking fees, tolls, and citations incurred during the rental period. Please notify me of any tickets received. 10. Damage and Incidents: Report any damage, accidents, or mechanical issues immediately. Unauthorized repairs are not permitted. 11. Mileage Limit: Adhere to the daily mileage limit. Excess mileage will incur additional fees as per Turo’s policy. 12. Return Instructions: • Return the vehicle on time to avoid late fees. • Ensure the car is parked in a legal, accessible location for pickup. • Remove all personal belongings before returning.
