I picked this car because Cristian had a 5 star rating and it was a good price. I fully admit we saved a ton of money, especially since it was spring break and car rental companies were gauging customers. The car itself was good. It was clean, great gas mileage, and no issues with the car itself. However, the pick up and drop off were a hassle. First, he sent us an email while we were flying that the pick up location had changed, and then he was not there to greet us. I didn't think to check my email prior to picking up the car, so I went and knocked on the door of the original address, and the lady who answered the door was less than pleased to see us and not very polite. Cristian was not answering his phone and his voicemail was full. Luckily our Lyft driver stayed with us but to be completely honest, I didn't feel safe. Then we finally found the car, but he had left it unlocked with the keys in it. We took the car, went on our trip and everything was fine. I messaged him during our trip that we would like to return the car directly to him because I didn't feel comfortable leaving the keys in an unlocked car. I mean, what if something happened? He assured me that he would be there to receive the car back, but guess what? He was not and he again, was not answering his phone. I did not feel safe in this area of town leaving the keys in the car so we locked the keys in the car, messaged him that we couldn't wait for him anymore because we had to catch our flight and that we had left the keys in the locked car and we left. The car is a good, quality car. It is clean and we had no car issues (which is why we gave it 3 stars and not one). But he left the car in a not so great part of town, and there was NO customer service whatsoever. I honestly wouldn't rent from him again. Not sure if we will try Turo again, as the hassle of going 30 minutes from the airport just to pick up a car from a guy who couldn't be bothered to greet us just isn't worth the savings. There needs to be some rules that the owner needs to be present at pick up and drop off, and that it needs to be done in a public place. Just my two cents.

"Not a great part of the town" it is an old area with houses constructed between 1950-1960, it is OLD, but not bad. "No customer service" you arrived earlier and you left quickly because you were in hurry for the plane, I came 10 min later and Turo recommends contactless check in and check out due to Covid, I'm sorry this was in your opinion "no customer service" and I believe was worth the price of $50 for a almost new car from 2019, which other rental companies would charge u more than$125/day
