Letting the Tesla battery deplete completely can cause serious issues and will result in a penalty. • Report any damage – If anything happens during your trip, please let us know right away so we can work together—or with Turo—to resolve it. It was our first time renting a Tesla. It was nice and fun besides having to stop and charge every day because I feel battery is no good. That was the only annoying part. For next time we personally wouldn’t rent a Tesla because it’s not for trips and vacations. Sun visors were broken on both sides, door on driver’s side lower part was scrapped, there was a scratch on exterior left back side. It would be helpful to have this mentioned in listing so we know we are not responsible for these issues.
I aim offer an honest experience. Sheyla reported pre-existing damage to the passenger visor, later vaguely reported the driver’s was “the same” without taking responsibility. Check-in photos showed it was fine. I waived the battery fee as a courtesy because the guest couldn’t return the car with the required charge level. However, her tone shifted after Turo imposed an improper return fee because she had not followed the designated drop-off rules. This review seems to reflect that frustration.
