Car was not ready by 9am like it was supposed to be. It was filthy inside and out. Turo states it will provide clean and sanitized cars. I had a wedding to get to..he expected me to wait 45 mins so the car can be washed but I had hair and makeup appointment to get to..had to uber to the salon and uber back to pick up the car cost an extra 70 bucks and wasted an additional 2 hours waiting for rides and traffic..I missed the brothers wedding. Host was not at all empathic to my situation, nor did he do anything to help. His excuse was he doesn't wash the car until people show up....this whole experience was devastating. Not to mention car is not as It appears..I get it it's 13 years old but there are small things wrong with it. Driver side mirror not working properly, door handle on passenger door pops off and seat belt beep doesn't stop, and neither does blinker. Which wouldn't be soo bad if you didn't feel like he was going to turn around and try to blame you for these things. The cars condition was the least of the issues.. missing my brothers wedding was devastating. I reached out to turo requesting some sort of refund, host has had almost a week to at least show some sort of good faith. But nothing. I returned his car at 910am he asked how it was I said "I missed my brothers wedding" to whichhe replied "have a good day" . I was returned car at promised time even though I didn't pick it up until 1230 on pick up day. On pick up day as I called him from the uber letting him know I was coming back for the car he said "your time has already started. It's like you have the car now" . Turo gave a 30 dollar credit but does me no good when I don't plan on booking with Turo again...especially with this Host.

Owner was amazing!! Last minute reservation.. Great communication and service. Delivered to and picked up from my location. Much easier than a standard rental car companies and very nice, clean and fun car.
