Everything was great and the communication with the host was easy and always with a prompt response. The car is in a good condition and well kept. I was very pleased with the experience and definitely I would rent again. Thank you Mr D.

I would HEAVILY caution anyone and advise picking a much safer, better maintained vehicle attached to a host that is present.

This was one of those all good till they have your money situations.

Started out great as my wife and I were looking to try out the FSD on the Tesla before buying one. Contacting the actual host ahead of the check in was fine until it was time for some help after the trip started.

Picked up the car (dropped in a random parking lot where the owner had no idea that her lit was being used to pick up rentals) and realized that it was not charged to where they expect you to bring it back at. It was at 78% and they require you to bring it back at 91% or they charge you. Right off the bat I knew we had to go to a charger which was 20 min out of the way. No big deal but let the co-host know and she told us that you dont have to charge it that full and that it was verified it was done prior to us picking up. I asked for proof that it was in fact done because i was told by the host that “sometimes the cars lose charge while sitting”. Odd and scary to me seeing as the car was dropped off at that pickup location at 7:05 pm and I arrived at the car at 7:47 pm at 78% meaning that this vehicle lost 13% battery in 42 min while being off and just sitting.

Fast forward to the morning when the sun was up and we saw the whole interior was FILTHY. Not only were there “spills” and other junk in each of the cup holders but there was cigarette ash all between the seats which explained why there was a very heavy “air freshener” smell to mask it.

We then gave the host another chance to correct the situation and they replied and said that the car was cleaned and ( again couldn’t provide any proof) and said “I’m sorry the cleaning wasn’t up to your standards”. I would have had full confidence in a full company like Hertz or Enterprise that they would either have the car cleaned or switch out the car. This host did neither and since we had a trip at 8 am which we put a good amount of money behind to see a concert, we were stuck with this car.

Along the way we realized more and mor that this car had not been maintained at all, it was not updated and was glitching the entire time (not a big deal for a gas’s car but this electric car that relies on a computer to run) the FSD stopped working on the way there, the rear camera kept freezing almost causing 2-3 minor accidents in the dark, the charging system had to be unplugged and replaced multiple times at charging stations.

This was overall an awful experience and we would hope that you do your research before just renting this particular vehicle. This is not safe to do any more than local errands and if your run into an issue that conflicts with money in the owners pocket, expect to get ripped off and pay for that vehicle regardless of how they give it to you or how it functions.
