  • How do I Charge using Tesla's Nationwide SuperCharger Network?

Tesla's Supercharging network is extensive and you will probably never find yourself more than 50 miles from a station. ' Casper ' will automatically route you to a supercharger location for long trips using the navigation and will let you know how long you need to charge for to reach your destination. You can at anytime see the closest Tesla Supercharging locations as well as Tesla's destination charging stations (overnight usually at hotels). 1. Once at a supercharging location, back into any open stall. 2. To start Charging - Hold the super charging handle and press the small gray circle on the handle. ' Casper's ' Charge port will open automatically (if it doesn't just lightly press the port door and it will open) 3. Insert the charger and it will lock the handle in place (to unlock the handle press the gray circle) 4. The Charge State will show on the screen in the vehicle. 5. Once the charge is complete just unlock the handle and remove it. (NOTE: no need to close the charge part, it will close on it's own - forcing it may damage it) Note: You should not leave the car in the charge spot, once the charge is complete. This is a courtesy to other's needing to charge. Also, Tesla does charge an idle fee if you stay plugged in after your charge after too long.

The car washed and fully charged, it ran perfectly and was a complete joy for our weekend in Napa. 100% recommend.

Byron was incredible and the Tesla was amazing. Even though Byron was under the weather, he still went out of way to show me the ins and outs of the car. Speaking of the car....this Tesla is quick haha. Took the car up all the way to Yosemite with no problems. Highly recommend this!!!

Byron and his Model 3 provided a great experience. Byron took the time to walkthrough all of the great features of his Tesla in person and was responsive to the few questions I had. His ride, Casper, was a pleasure to drive. It was a highlight to our trip to the mountains.

Byron made everything really, really easy. His car was new, fancy, and spotless. He took the time to teach me a bit about how to drive a Tesla, and he came to my house (!) for pickup. He made my weekend easy-peasy, so I could focus on showing family a great time.
