What type of fuel does the vehicle require?
The vehicle requires 91 octane premium gasoline ONLY! Please be sure to use the proper fuel type and leave your receipt in the vehicle to show proof and also take pictures of it at the end of your trip.
Is smoking allowed in the vehicle?
Smoking of any kind (including cigarettes, cigars, vapes, and marijuana) is strictly prohibited in this vehicle. Turo has a zero-tolerance policy for smoking, and any violation will result in a $150 - $250 fee charged directly by Turo.
How do you open/close the top?
The button to open/close the top is on the drivers door and you must press and hold the entire time until it opens/closes all the way, otherwise the convertible top will get stuck in the middle of the cycle and the car won't move. Hold the button until it shows on the console a message saying that the open/close operation is complete. Do not operate the top with the car moving, it needs to be parked/stopped.
Can the car be taken to a racetrack or any other kind of race activity?
No, this vehicle is not meant for racing. The Corvette 3LT is a high-performance luxury sports car designed for street driving only. Racing, track use, burnouts, or any aggressive driving that causes excessive wear and tear is strictly prohibited. Violations may result in additional fees and penalties per Turo's policies. For security and maintenance purposes, all vehicles are equipped with a telematics system and those activities will be monitored.
Is there a feature to raise/lower the car?
Yes, please be sure to press the button below the screen with the car and arrow up symbol on it to raise the front end of the vehicle in dips and steep curbs to avoid damage to the front end of the car. Any damage to the front or back splitter will incur a repair cost.
