Do I need to fill the gas when I return the vehicle?
Yes! Most of the time I put full of gas so you need to fill gas up to full when you return it! If the gas is missing, you will be charged a gas+ $10 convenience fee. This vehicle takes regular gas.
What do I have to do when I get into an accident or need help on the road?
When you get into an accident, first, don't panic! But you must report the accident immediately – at least within 24 hours of the trip’s end or date of the incident. You must also file a police report and provide the report number to Turo. If you don’t, you may not be eligible for compensation. Look for the "Incident information card" in the glove compartment or the app. Call the 24/7 customer support and roadside assistance(1-415-965-4525) Call Turo and let them know you got into an accident and also the car owner.
Where is the insurance card?
The insurance card will be always in the glove box. You can also get it from the app. 1. Go to your current trip. 2. Go to the "Help" section. 3. You will see documents "Car sharing agreement", and "Incident information card".
