We have just a few rules we need you to follow. Everyone will be asked to present ID before receiving the keys to any of my cars. Absolutely NO Smoking! Anything! You will be charged a $250fee for violation Absolutely No pets! You will be Charged fee for violation Absolutely No SAND! sand is very hard to remove you will be charged a $150 cleaning Fee for violation Please do not spray or put air freshener in this vehicle! If this is the type of service that I can expect from an "All Star Host" then I might as well look for a driver with a 1* rating........... Where can I start? This driver lied to me, misrepresented this Nissan Maxima, and didn't even bother to fill up the gas tank even though after I asked him over one week before the trip, he specifically TOLD ME that he would! When I immediately pointed it out to him upon discovering the 1/2 tank, he said he "didn't have a chance" but gimme a break! That was the whole point of me messaging him AHEAD OF TIME to make sure that the car would be Full since we do a lot of driving and cruising. This excuse would fly if he's NOT an "All Star Host" but given that he is, it's absolutely inexcusable that he failed to do something so basic in preparation to renting his car out to a new customer. And to make matters worse, he didn't even OFFER to make it right for us unlike my first rental here who did the same thing but made things right by at least offering us to return it not only 1/4 but EMPTY! However, in contrast, Richard and his wife both demanded that I return it to the exact level (1/2 tank, which I did) and even accused me of harassing him instead of owning up to his mistake! He even said he'd charge me EVEN THOUGH I was the one that was inconvenienced since the car wasn't even filled up like he said he would upon pick up! Is this the type of customer service you'd expect from an "All Star Host" here at Turo??? His communication was definitely subpar, too.... at first he told me that he's gonna meet me at "baggage claim"........ then when I arrive and call him on the # he gave, he didn't even pick up the damn phone and I ended up getting a Hispanic lady's voicemail instead!! Great voicemail for an "All Star Host" renting out many vehicles, wouldn't you say?! Not knowing what to do or where to meet him to pick up the car since he was nowhere to be found in the baggage area, we went outside and waited and it was actually my wife who was the one that found HIM! But before this, he sent us a message "I'm looking for you" but once again another lie bec he hadn't even ARRIVED the arrivals area so how could he possibly be looking for us?! When I told him that we're waiting for him at baggage claim (where he told me he would wait for us originally), he then said he can't go in there and to wait "outside," but never mentioned exactly where, only leaving us to guess and find HIM! Great start to our trip... having to guess where our Turo driver's at in a large metropolitan airport in the 5th largest city in the U.S. Once again, terrible communication on his part especially not bothering to pick up his phone when we were repeatedly trying to call him to make sure he didn't just flake out on us! If this isn't enough, NOWHERE on the car details/info did he ever mention that his sunroof was broken.......... so, because of his negligence and extreme carefreeness and poor customer service, this "All Star Host," once again did us wrong and left our skin to be pierced by the sun reflecting directly through his broken sunroof as we had no choice but to suffer through the rays of sun penetrating our skin since we were driving through 3 different states over 6 days! Had Richard done the RIGHT thing and simply informed people ahead of time that his sunroof doesn't shut, I DEFINITELY wouldn't have rented this vehicle as I knew we were gonna be doing a lot of driving and didn't want to be bothered by a sunroof that don't shut! But instead, it was a complete misrepresentation and just pretty slimey to fail to disclose this important tidbit of info when of course he & his wife both knew it didn't work from the get-go! Just like the 1/2 tank of gas he failed to fill up, he obviously just wanted to take a risk on the sunroof not working and (hoping) a guest wouldn't be bothered but NEWSFLASH: It did NOT pay off to your benefit!! Also, the Oil Change was expired, yet another thing this "All Star Host" failed to take care of ahead of time! Thank God it didn't burn and cause a mechanical failure as a result. Only reason why I didn't rate it 1* is bec the car was clean; but otherwise, I won't ever be renting from Richard again. His inadequate customer service skills spoke volumes this trip; so unless you want to rent a car from a very negligent and irresponsible "All Star Host" who not only lies to your face & refuses to make things right for you from the very start of a week long trip on top of piss-poor communication, don't even bother and go ahead and thank me later!!!

Sir the level of lies your telling is ridiculous your very hurt about gas.. In my details about my car it clearly states that the sunroof is out of Order. When i came and got my car you didn’t keep this same energy you never expressed any of these so called issues you have to me in person. My oil change was done the day i delivered the car to you.so how is it expired??? I have all my proof! They only thing i did to you was not fill up my gas tank. Everything else Lie on top of lies but God bless
