I will discuss pick-up/drop-off with you via Turo messages. My car (and the Turo platform) is equipped for remote pickup and drop-off. Here is an example scenario of the remote hand-off: Start of trip: - go to the pick-up location (agreed upon before-hand) - take photos of the vehicle and upload to Turo Trip Photos (this is for both the guest's and the host's protection and insurance coverage.) - when your trip starts, you will be sent a code to unlock the car/key End of trip: - park the car at the agreed-upon location - take new photos of the vehicle - leave the key in the lock box and lock the car That's it! Please note that the photos mentioned are required before and after the trip, for Turo to provide coverage. Per Turo's policy: "If you don’t take pictures, you may be held liable for damage reported by your host."

Guidelines

To ensure a safe and pleasant trip, there are a few guidelines you need to follow for a Turo trip. My goal is that your experience is simple and hassle-free, so please contact me with any questions or concerns prior, during or after the trip! This vehicle is a personal car – not part of a corporate rental/fleet. You are asked and expected to keep the car in good condition during your trip - including safe driving, cleanliness and courtesy. Replace any fuel you used, clean out the car of trash/dirt/crumbs/etc, and be sure to proactively report any damage or incidents. Some days the car may be rented out back-to-back, so by returning the car clean, you'll help us provide a consistent and pleasant rental experience. No pets allowed in the vehicle. Absolutely no smoking/vaping will be tolerated while in the vehicle, and a cleaning fee will be charged if the renter violates this rule, or vehicle smoking sensors are tampered with. YOUR DRIVER’S LICENSE: Per Turo Policy, TEXT ME a clear photo of the FRONT and BACK of your driver’s license, AND a clear "selfie" type photo of you holding your driver’s license near your FACE. If it is non-US, then also send me a photo of your passport and foreign driver’s license, if available. If there are multiple drivers, they must each have a verified Turo account, and be added to this rental in the Turo Dashboard. Have each driver send the same photos of their license. These photos MUST be sent before the rental begins. Per Turo's policy, I will not be allowed to release the car without these images being submitted. REMOTE KEY HAND-OFF INSTRUCTIONS: In the event that I am not in Nashville to drop-off and/or pick-up the car, I will send you details on how and where to access the car. Here is an example remote hand-off scenario: Picking up the car: - I will send you the exact location of my car, and the code to unlock a key lockbox attached to the car window. Once the car is unlocked, remove the lockbox from the window and store it in the car. - You MUST TAKE PHOTOS of the interior/exterior of the vehicle before you drive away. This is for your protection, as Turo Insurance uses these photos as evidence in the event of an insurance claim. Upload images in the Turo "Trip Photos" section. The more photos, the better! :-) Dropping off the car: - After booking the trip, I will message you to coordinate an ideal drop-off location. Once the car is parked, text me a photo of the car’s location and any applicable markers (level number, row, etc.) If there is a parking pass/stub, leave it in a visible location (cup holder is fine.) - Again, take photos of the car's condition (each side of the car, and a few of the interior, seats, etc.) This process does not take long, and is required before your trip ends. Per Turo's policy: "If you don’t take pictures, you may be held liable for damage reported by your host." Upload the photos to "Trip Photos" in the app. - Lock the car, put the lock box back on the car’s window, and roll the window up. Then, enter the code, insert the key inside the lockbox and close it. You are done! AIRPORT PICK-UP / DROP-OFF If you are picking up from Nashville Airport, the car will be waiting in a parking lot near the airport terminal. I will provide details once your booking is confirmed. In order to provide the best experience, please send me your flight arrival/departure times, and ideally the flight number(s). __________________________________________________ You can get FREE CAR WASHES during your trip! Ask me about it... MISCELLANEOUS FEES: Once the vehicle is returned, if there are any additional fines/fees due, such as; tolls, tickets, taxes, parking fees, mileage overages, un-replaced fuel, late return fees, cleaning fees, or damage to the car, then Turo will message you with the amount due. TO AVOID these miscellaneous fines/fees basically return the vehicle the same as when you received it. Stay within the included mileage, avoid tolls and tickets (if possible), replace any used fuel, make sure the vehicle is washed, vacuumed and clean inside and out, on time when returning it, and smoke, odor, and damage free.

  • How do I get unlimited internet during my trip?

    This vehicle is equipped with a built-in, unlimited Wi-Fi hotspot. In order to utilize this service, you can buy it as an "Extra" when you book. I will activate the hotspot and send you the Wi-Fi password upon booking. The hotspot allows up to 7 devices to connect, and can work up to 50 feet away from the vehicle.
