1. What comes with the car?
A Full Tank of Fuel, an aux cable and some pop CDs are provided. Also, a toolbox includes an Umbrella, a Flashlight, a Snow Brush, a Windshield De-Icer Spray, a Hand Vacuum Cleaner, a Tire Inflator, a Digital Tire Pressure Gauge, some Auto Cleaning Wipes, a Trash Bag Roll, and a First Aid Kit will be stored in the trunk to enhance your trip.
2. Can I pick up/drop off the car after the midnight?
Dropping off after midnight is always available by using the lock box. However, only guests who have legitimate reasons/circumstances or have at least three trips on Turo will be allowed to pick up after midnight.
3. Can I rent the car only for a day or a few hours?
Yes, I offer one-day and short-term car rentals to provide flexibility and ease for all your travel needs. **Please be advised Turo still charge full day price even you only rent a few hours **
4. How can I remotely use the Lock Box to pick up/drop off?
The lock box will be available when I am unable to meet you in person. I will leave the key in the lock box and you will get the combo once you upload your picture of your license and a picture of you holding your license to the Trip Photos. Remote drop off instruction can be found at a binder which will be stored in the car.
5. Can I book at last-minute or on same-day?
Yes, you can book it prior to two hours of noticing. (Booking after midnight doesn't count, let's say you book at 2 am and wish to pick up the car at 4 am.)
Delivery or Airport handoff need to request at least six hours of noticing and availability depends on the schedule.
6. Can I return early?
Yes, you can return the car early as long as you notify me in advance.
7. Are you flexible with extra mileage?
You may exceed the included miles but will be billed at the listed per-mile rate.
8. Tell me more about free delivery for UMN students
In order to enjoy this free delivery you must meet the following requirements:
1. You are a current student at UMN
2. You’re not booking on the same-day
3. Your home address is within 2 miles of the Coffman Union (Use Google Map to measure the drive distance )
**If your home exceeds the distance, remember I can always deliver to somewhere else within the range (Availability depends on my schedule, sooner you notify me the higher chance I can accommodate)
9. Will you cancel my trip?
As a reliable host, it's highly unlikely for me to cancel a confirmed trip since I personally believe canceling a confirmed trip and leaving the guest high and dry is very unethical.
10. Why should I treat your car well?
Please do so because I trust that you will. Also, body damage, scratches and curbed rims will be charged. So treat it as it is your own property.
11. What if I left something in your car?
I will always message you first if I found something left in my car. Still, message me ASAP when you believe you had left something in the car. I will either meet you in person or mail it to you once I found it.
12. Why do you rent your car?
In Minnesota, we welcome every visitor. I’d love to see people enjoy their time exploring Midwest. So, I decided to provide my car to all the visitors. And of course, it makes me feel good when people enjoy driving my car. I do hope you enjoy your time exploring this beautiful northern star state!
