Be warned: This car is LOUD. You may set off a car alarm or two just by driving by or doing a cold start- especially if you take it to a parking garage. This car WILL turn heads. You will likely be asked to rev the engine when at a stop light, just as you will probably be asked for life advice when parked in the city. This Audi R8 is equipped with a 10 Cylinder naturally aspirated engine which produces 525 horsepower allowing it to reach ~200mph. This is NOT a sports car, it is by all measures a supercar and is often referred to as a “Lamborghini in a business suit” because it shares the exact same engine and many of the same parts from the Gallardo. People have often told me that this is the most beautiful car they have ever seen including Ferraris and Lamborghinis. It DOES NOT photograph well and I guarantee you will be surprised when you see how ridiculous it looks in person. This car is an automatic manual. This means that there is an automatic mode that can override the manual transmission- however the car is designed to be driven manually with the paddle shifters.
