This whole process was very frustrating. This was my first time using turo so I was confused and had a couple of questions. I proceed to msg Karina through turo and by text to the number provided. The msg was sent on the 7th of April and didn't get a response till the day before my trip 16 days later letting me know that I needed to contact them once I arrived. They never answered any of my questions. Once I arrived I called the number provided and asked if they could verify the address and she was being very difficult and telling me to just take the train. Mind you that this is my first time in Miami. She wouldn't explain what train but I had to take the train. After calling 3 separate times I finally got the address sent to me. Once we got to the pickup location it was very chaotic. I had to wait an hour to get acknowledged. Once I spoke to someone she advised me of the additional charges of $305 on top of the $250 I had already paid (it was going to be refunded once the vehicle was returned). She told me I could use my insurance and it will only cost me 100 instead of $305. Since I didn't get advice to bring my insurance I had to look for it on my phone and she got impatient and told me I wouldn't be able to use my insurance anymore. It was my first time in Miami and needed a car. Enterprise didn't have any cars at the moment so I had to go through Karina. The car looked clean on the outside but inside had a sticky substance near the cupholder. The car ran well and it was good on gas. The day of the drop off I got over 23 texts and emails, letting me know my trip was ending. Once I turn in the car the lady asked me if I needed a ride to the airport ( I had already order my uber) I told her yes, then she asked me to see my phone. I thought she was going to take picture of how the car arrived instead she tried to review herself. I told her she wasn't going to do that and that I will be doing the reviewing. She got upset and told me she couldn't give me a ride. I don't appreciate the fact that she was trying to give herself 5 stars and say she had a great experience.
