! DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PERSON. Mark rented me his Tesla 2015 Model S that had a serious safety issue and he refused to acknowledge it. He started out by cancelling the trip two times. The last time while we were at the airport in Miami waiting for an uber to come and pickup the car. He informed me that it was an accident and that I should request the car again. I did so and we were on our way to pickup the car. He was not at the pickup location, but told me that the valet would give me the keys. The car made a scraping noise when in reverse, but had no issues going forward, so I continued with driving up to my friends house in Bouyton beach. This trip was uneventful and I enjoyed the car. The next morning, we went to breakfast with the the car and all seemed fine. When I got back to the car, again it made a scraping noise when driven in reverse, but no noise when driving forward. I drove a little ways in the parking lot to pickup my passengers when all of a sudden, the car started making a bad scraping noise. I stoped the car and realized that the entire front number had fallen off the car. Since we needed to only go a few blocks to get back to my friends house, I pushed the bumper back on and drove back. Afterwards contacted Mark to let him know what had happened and inform him that I was concerned about the safety of the car. He said to drive the car back to him (60 miles) and I refused again citing my concern over the safety of the car. Subsequently I arranged for a tow and the car was towed back to him. I cancelled the trip, but he refused the cancellation and ultimately I was charged for the entire trip even though I had the car for less than 24 hours. After the car left us, I realized that I had left a bag of souvenirs in the trunk and I contacted Mark again to arrange for the return of the items. He claimed that his wife was driving the car and that he would ask her about it after she came back. He stated that she was in Naples. It turned out that we also were in Naples and I told him that we could just meet up with her and retrieve the bag. He did not respond to my request for two days. He finally responded and agreed to ship back my items. However, he asked that I submit a positive review before he was willing to discuss the details of returning my items. I contacted Turo and informed them of his attempt to blackmail me for a positive review. I was able to get a refund for the unused days. However he continues to hold my items and refuses to send them back.

I'm sorry you had a bad experience Fred. In terms of Fred's stuff, he also left smelly food in the car. We were not willing to run around to multiple places to get quotes to ship his stuff back, we were very happy to mail him his stuff back which we did (via FedEx). He was a no show 3x times to pick it up at our house. He had the car towed back to our house. There was NO bumper issue whatsoever. He wanted a one way rental that we did not want to accommodate. Avoid him as a renter.
