Description

Experience one of the latest and greatest Electric Vehicles on the market! This is the innovative BMW I3 ReX, the world’s most sustainable vehicle This is a 2015 Bmw i3 ReX and with a full battery it will take you 60-65 miles, and the 2.4 gallon Range Extender generator will keep your battery at 4 percent charge and give you another 70-80 miles to be able to get to next charging station and If you can't plug it in, simply fill up the 2.4 gallon tank with PREMIUM UNLEADED and you're good for another 70 to 80 miles! You can continue to drive without charging as long as you keep adding fuel to the Range Extender. These totals are mainly comprised of highway driving. If you are just using it around town at lower speeds the mileage is a bit higher so again the total miles you will get is between 120-150 all depending on your driving style. This car is super fun to drive and very FAST! It handles like a BMW should. It has the Harmon Kardon sound system full voice control Navigation, full leather package, parking assist and Active cruise crontrol that will bring the car to a full stop if the vehicle in front of you slows down or hits the brakes. There are plenty of charging stations in and around Memphis Just download the "Plugshare" app on your phone to list all available charging stations The car does come equipped with a 120V wall charger that can be plugged into a regular outlet but that is only for overnight charges. Your best bet is a supercharger that will bring the car from 6.5% to 85% in about 28 minutes there is such a charger at the Dave and buster parking lot on Germantown Pkwy called Electrify America. That is where we go to charge it 👍⚡⚡ Common charging times (to full charge): 120v (wall plug) = 10-12 hours 240v (public chargers) = 3-4hours DC (fast chargers) = 20-25 minutes to 90% We definitely recommend adding the unlimited miles package to your trip so you have Zero worries about how many miles you drive and it's only a one time charge that will covers you for the Full trip. Please ensure you re-fill the Range Extender tank with PREMIUM UNLEADED GAS ONLY 91+ Please Note: - No Smoking, Drugs, Vaping, or Pets Please! Additional detailing fee will be applied. - Car is Washed and will have a Full tank of Gas on the Range Extender, the battery will be fully charged if picked up at our location or 50% if delivered to your location.

Was not happy with this car. It’s electric 60mile. The gas stations I went to the electric pumps did not work. Then 2 gallons of gas only worth 60 miles. This was another headache. I don’t like the fact that they hiked on a charge after a charge that I agree to pay it! I left $45 cash in car yes money in the car to accommodate me bringing the car back three hours late but they charge me an extra $180 because of late return, when the car was only $80 to rent. I was late looking for a port to charge the car up electrically but I was charge $50 for that. I was charge $50 for the car smelling like smoke. After I agreed to the hundred dollars when I look at my email not only did they clock $100 hundred dollars but a clock an extra $180 without my permission. I really do feel and believe like I was overcharged and taken advantage of worth $300 after a $750 rental. Totaling 1050.00 that is way too much for that car it was not worth that and the charges were incorrectly taken off my card without my permission.

Nicole's response

Unfortunately the car was returned 9 hours late without charge that's $50 3/4tank gas that's $50 fee. The car also had dirt all over the carpets to include ash and Marijuana crumbs so Turo charged the late fee and the smoking fee according to their Policy and Turo also took the guest cash that was left with the keys and they used it towards credit on their account.

My daughter and I rented a BMW i3 hybrid in Memphis, Tennessee, which we were told was fully charged and gassed, and that we wouldn't need to stop before our destination, which was Jackson, Tennessee. We were good to go. 60 miles later it suddenly lost power. I had to pull to the side of the road on Interstate 40. The car was dead. There was no way to charge our phones. I called the car's owner and they told me to call their BMW dealer. I did so but not much came of the call. That was unpleasant. The nightmare began when we called Turo's roadside assistance. I gave our exact location to the person on the other end. I couldn't have been more specific. After more than an hour of waiting, I called back and was informed the driver they had called was on the eastern end of the state. He was more than two hours away, and wasn't coming. I called again and this time the telephone software for Turo's roadside service began to glitch out. Buttons for menu options were pushed at the prompt and nothing would happen. Whenever I did get through to someone I would be disconnected at some point while I waited for the person on the other end to do whatever it is that they were doing. The sound quality of the calls was awful. At least the customer service people were friendly. I called again and again and finally spoke to someone without being disconnected and was told someone was on the way. I waited in the back of a State Trooper's vehicle. He had pulled over and was trying to help. I called Turo's roadside service from the back of his vehicle because my daughter (14) was histerical and I couldn't hear anything on the other end. Eventually I got a call from a tow-truck driver in eastern Tennessee. He said he was about two hours away. The trooper was shocked that Turo had done this twot times now . I called Turo again, I was connected with someone, I told them what's been happening, and begged them for a tow. As usual, it seemed difficult for the customer service people to locate our vehicle. The Trooper asked to speak to the person on the phone. He asked why it was so hard for them to find a car on the side of the eastbound 40 when everything, including the mile marker, is given. We were told someone would be there to tow us in 45 min. After an hour we called and were told that he would be there soon. After a total of about four hours of this nonsense we left the car with the fob in the center console, and called someone to come get us. By the time the owner messaged me that the car has finally been towed, it had been sitting there for five hours. How is this possible? The car wasn't down some dusty back road! I thought Turo was a billion dollar company. In actual fact it is a company that doesn't care about the people that use their service. If they did they would fix this problem. I'm sure we're not the first people that this has happened to. Leaving people stranded on the side of the road because, uh, well, you just can't seem to find them is disgusting. I cancelled the card when I got home. Now Turo has sent me to collections. I just got a call earlier today. This was the first time I'd used this app and could only recommend it to those that enjoy eating glass.
