NO OUTRAGEOUS GAS PRICES HERE! TESLAS are amazing! As an auto repair shop owner for 25+ years, I have driven thousands of cars and can say with absolute confidence that TESLAS are the best cars I have ever experienced. And the Model 3's are the quickest, tightest and funnest cars I have ever driven! If you’re thinking about a new car, drive this for a day and you will love it so much that you will absolutely want to buy one! This 2018 Model 3 has a 225+ mile battery and several Autopilot Controls like Speed Limit, Forward Collision Warning, Lane Departure Avoidance and more. It DOES NOT have the "Autopilot Package" (with Traffic Aware Cruise Control & Autosteer) or the Full Self-Driving software installed. (See our blue 2019 Model 3 - also available here on Turo - to experience these.) Be sure to watch Tesla tutorials for more info before your rental @ tesla.com/support/meet-your-tesla. This car is all electric - NO GAS! To charge at "home," plug into a standard 110v outlet and get 3-5 miles an hour. There are also free and pay EV chargers all around. The TESLA Supercharger Stations charge MUCH faster, are bountiful, easy to find, simple to use and can charge to a full battery in as little as 25 mins. [Typical Supercharger fee for 225 miles = $12-15.] **ADDITIONAL CHARGES - We will seek reimbursement for Tolls and Charging at TESLA Superchargers.** This car has its own EZ-Pass Account (transponder #5394321) and is recognized at TESLA Superchargers. We will check both accounts and add totals to your bill after car return/check-in. We can deliver (and pick-up) the car within 15 miles of Medway, MA 02053 and various other places (South Station, TF Greene Airport, etc...) for a $120 fee. Call to check your desired location and we'll let you know if we can do it. FOR TRAVELERS FLYING INTO LOGAN AIRPORT - We can't pick you up at the airport, but we can deliver the car to South Station in Boston, which is just minutes away. Outside the Baggage Claim, you can jump on the FREE Silver Line Bus (which runs every 10 mins) to South Station where we will meet you out at the curb.

I'm Doug Voss, Owner of Neighborhood Wrench Auto Repair Shop in Medway. This is where we do the Pick-ups/Drop-offs of our Teslas. You can leave your vehicle parked in our Lot during your rental of 5 days or less.
I want the experience of charging at TESLA Superchargers. How does it all work?
We will go through a quick intro tour of the Model 3 at your pick-up, but TESLA Superchargers can be easily found by clicking the the LIGHTENING BOLT icon on the map screen. Info on all nearby Chargers will be displayed. Click the one you want and it will be added to your destination. WHEN AT A TESLA SUPERCHARGER, the car will be identified as you drive up. All you have to do is open the charge port, plug-in and your charging screen will give you the info on how fast it is charging, how long it will take and how much it will cost. Your Supercharger fees will be added to your bill at the end of your trip. [Typical Supercharger fee for 225 miles = $12-15.]
Do I have to return the car with a fully-charged battery?
We ask that you return the vehicle to the Neighborhood Wrench Auto Repair Shop with at least a 3/4 (75%) battery charge. Or you can pay an EV Recharge Fee of $20. If we are picking a delivered car up, we require a minimum of 50 miles of battery available or we will add the $20 EV Recharge Fee.

Doug wasn’t there to show the car. But his wife was very welcoming and showed me their Tesla, which was in good condition. It was a good car overall and enjoyable to drive. Unfortunately, the only reason I rented the Tesla was because I believed that Teslas had autopilot to be able to have a safer trip than with an ordinary car because I had a long trip the couple of days I was renting it. There was a misunderstanding, and his wife informed me that it had autopilot. It actually did not and I realized trying to put it to autopilot as I had other Teslas I had driven. I texted Doug immediately within half an hour or so of driving it. He told me there was no autopilot. I told him the only reason I wanted a Tesla was for that feature. I requested a full refund and to immediately return the Tesla. Doug offered to charge one full day and refund one out of two days. I found that unacceptable initially as only an hour of the trip had progressed. I offered $50 but that was not satisfactory to him, and he lost his cool and was very upset that I insisted he please refund the whole trip minus that amount for their time. I felt bad afterwards that he was upset and offered to still pay the two days so he would forgive me for upsetting him as I hate upsetting people and having them think I was not fair. Eventually we settled on the compromise of me using it for one day. The only other complaint is that they did not take a picture of the odometer and upload it with a time stamp upon giving me the car. My calculations showed I had driven ~212miles and I was charged for 237. But I didn’t push the matter as it’s not a huge extra cost. Moreover, they took a picture of my driver’s license with a regular picture and not the app. A picture is not required in the rules and only visual inspection/verification is required according to the website for in person meetup/handoff of the car. Again most everything was fine with the car and they had kept it in good condition and explained it to the extent they were able. And I appreciate their compromising giving me a day refund at least. I hope they more prominently put that this is a rare Tesla without autopilot in their description.
Jen (Doug’s wife), here. There’s A LOT of confusion around the term “Autopilot.” All Teslas have “Autopilot” to a certain degree, but features vary depending on the model & if an “Autopilot Package” was purchased. Having 3 Teslas with various packages, we try to be clear in our descriptions and we specifically go through the Autopilot features when a guest gets the car. Farhad was attending a Bachelor Party & wanted the car to drive FOR him. He misunderstood this Tesla's Autopilot features.

This was my first time using Turo was a little skeptical about it. Once I met Doug’s wife she put all my worries at ease . She was super nice , gave a thorough walk through of all the features in the car. Any questions I had Doug immediately responded and walked me through the steps. If you’re thinking of renting a Tesla , go with Doug. You won’t be disappointed 10/10.
