- No smoking - No vaping - No off roading - No pets Please do not charge the vehicle beyond 80% to help maintain the longevity of the battery. Please do not take this vehicle through an automatic car wash. Doing so can damage the paint and will result in additional fees for paint correction. Please note if the prepaid EV charge option is not purchased during the reservation booking, then the vehicle needs to be returned with the amount of charge the vehicle was initially picked up with. Renters will be required to pay all tolls or tickets prior to returning the vehicle. Any violations we receive afterwards will incur an additional fee on top of the violation. If traveling outside of the state of MA be advised that not all states send a bill in the mail for tolls etc. You are required to pay each toll. If there are unpaid tolls or other violations found later to be during the time of your rental, you will be liable for all associated costs. • How do I charge the car?

  - Navigate to a Tesla Supercharger, reverse into a stall and simply plug it in! You can open up the charge port (rear driver side) by just tapping on it with your finger. The process is as easy as charging your phone. - Once you are done charging, simply press the “Unlock Charge Port” button on the Tesla App to release the charger. - Please keep the vehicle charged no lower than 20% and no higher than 80%. These numbers are for the health of the battery. You will be billed after the trip for the charging fees. It takes about 15-20 minutes to charge from 20 to 80% and the cost can vary from $10-15. - Included is an adapter for home charging (located in the center console or cup holder) if you have one available!

• How does the Full Self Driving work? Any tips?

  - Press the right button on the steering wheel to engage FSD. You can disable FSD in the “Autopilot” Tab in the settings and just enable Autopilot or TACC (Traffic Aware Cruise Control). - The car is NOT fully autonomous! PLEASE keep your hand on the wheel and be ready to take over at any time! The technology is amazing but it does make mistakes so please be cautious! - FSD can be a bit cautious when exiting/merging onto highways, as well as lane changes in general. I prefer to take over during these parts of the drive, so be prepared! - FSD does NOT avoid potholes. This is a pain point right now, so pay close attention to the roads! They’re all over Massachusetts! - FSD can take corners/turns a little too tight. There have been instances where FSD will hit a curb when turning, so be cautious. This goes for normal driving too - the car is wider than it seems! It’s pretty common to see curb rash on Tesla wheels for these reasons. - ⚠️ CAUTION ⚠️ FSD/Autopilot can be disabled! If the software detects you are not paying attention too many times in a row, it will disable autopilot or FSD for the remainder of the drive - this is called a strike. If you receive 5 strikes, this feature will be automatically be disabled for 2 weeks. I cannot change this, as this is implemented by Tesla! Receiving a strike is very bad and can potentially prevent future Turo guests from using the feature, as I am unable to request access once 5 strikes has been detected. As long as eye contact as maintained, and hands are on the wheel, autopilot/FSD strikes should not be an issue!

• How do I unlock or lock the car?

  -Once you have been granted vehicle access from the Tesla App, you will simply be able to walk up to unlock, or walk away to lock! It's that easy. Make sure you have bluetooth enabled. If all else fails, open up the Tesla App and press unlock/lock.

• How do I start the Tesla & shift gears (PRND)?

  Once you are inside the car, simply just step on the brake and shift gears on the screen to get going. - Swipe up on the left side of the screen to Drive - Swipe down on to Reverse - Hold the middle of the bar to Park - To enter neutral, you can either press the “N” button on the ceiling near the rear view mirror (right next to the hazards button) OR you can go to Settings -> Controls -> Hold to Neutral

• What's included in the Tesla App?

  - Remotely set the temperature from your app. Hit the “Climate” tab and turn it on. Set your temperature to your preference before you are ready to hop in, and enjoy coming back to a fully cooled or heated vehicle! - Trunk can be opened/closed from within the app - Frunk can only be opened from within the app - You can monitor the interior/exterior of the vehicle through the Sentry Mode cameras. - Unlock and Lock the vehicle manually - GPS to help you find your car if necesssary

• Tolls? (Does this car have an EZ Pass)

  The plates are registered to my Massachusetts EZ Pass account. You will receive a bill for any tolls post trip.

• What is the difference between Autopilot and Full Self Driving Supervised?

  - Autopilot mainly serves to function on highways. It will keep your vehicle centered in the lane, as well as speeding up and slowing down to other cars in front of it. Autopilot does NOT change lanes nor does it work on city streets to do things like read stop signs, traffic lights, etc. - Full Self Driving Supervised has all of the Autopilot functions plus more. It will do lane changes, merging, exiting off highways, read and respond to traffic lights/stop signs/pedestrians/bicyclists etc. Though the name suggests it is fully autonomous, it is not! It is a cool piece of technology, but please be reminded that you are to be in control and ready to take over at all times! You are responsible for what happens when FSD or Autopilot are enabled.

• Can I charge my phone?

  Yes! There are two wireless charging spots right underneath the main touch screen. Please note that you may have to take off your phone case for it to work. There are also two slots for your charger underneath the rear screen and one inside the center console where you can plug in your phone with your cable (one is not provided).

• Will I get charged cleaning fees?

  Cleaning fees usually occur as a result of excessive interior mess. Don’t stress about the exterior! With that said, please return the interior of the vehicle in the condition you found it in to avoid any cleaning fees. The vehicle has a membership to Sparkling Image car wash which includes a FREE interior and exterior clean. It usually takes around 20 minutes and they are open 8 - 6 pm every day. There are two locations in the area - feel free to stop by there before you drop off the car if you are worried about potential cleaning fees! Just ensure to go to the full service line.
