Guidelines
No pets, open food, or smoking of any kind is allowed. Exceptions are always possible upon request, but violation of this rule without prior approval will incur additional fees. PLEASE do not charge above 90% (~315 miles) or discharge below 10% (~35 miles) unless absolutely necessary, as this rapidly degrades battery health. Please be aware that once charging is complete at a Tesla Supercharger, additional idle fees will begin to accumulate so long as the car is still plugged in to the charger. Those fees will be passed to you. Please continue your trip or move the car once charging is complete. Absolutely no racing of any kind is allowed. Do not take this car to any race track or drag strip. It is not allowed on a drag strip without additional safety modifications and permits. If washing before return, please avoid automated or "touch" car washes, which may damage the paint. Please use touchless or hand wash car washes. Do not cross state lines without prior consent. How do I shift into forward, reverse, or park?
Depress the brake pedal, place your finger in the designated left portion of the screen, and slide up for forward, or down for reverse. Press the "Park" button at the top left corner of the screen to park.
How do I use the turn signals?
The indicators are now located on the face of the steering yoke, to the left. The right arrow indicates right, and vice versa. Tap once in the desired direction to signal once. Press firmly to indicate continuously.
How do I engage cruise control / Autopilot?
Depress the right scroll wheel once to engage Traffic Aware Cruise Control (TACC), and once more to engage Autopilot (AP). Scroll the wheel up or down to adjust the maximum speed target. This car is not currently equipped with Full Self Driving and will therefore not automatically change lanes or follow your route. Please continue to pay attention to the road and your surroundings while using TACC or AP and be ready to take control of the car.
