I’ve rented countless Teslas on Turo and have always had amazing experiences — friendly hosts, clear communication, and mutual respect. Unfortunately, my experience with this host, Natallie, was completely different.
Before the trip started, she unilaterally changed the terms and forced me to pay a total of $70 for pre- and post-trip parking fees — something that was not clearly disclosed at the time of booking. When I tried to communicate about it, she took a defensive and confrontational stance, even though I remained respectful and didn’t escalate.
This kind of behavior was a stark contrast to the professionalism and kindness I’ve experienced with other Tesla hosts. Instead of enhancing my trip, this rental cast a shadow over my visit to California. On top of the ~$200 booking cost, I had to pay an extra $70 under pressure, which I am still in the process of disputing.
