Easiest car rental ever! Will definitely rent from Burri next time I'm in LA.

When you book one of the least expensive cars you can find on Turo, you're probably taking your chances. Overall, the Fiat 500 served us adequately. I had owned one previously, so I knew it would be easy to park in Los Angeles, maneuverable in traffic and get good gas mileage. I expect the non-turbo, automatic transmission version to be underpowered, and it was. But that was okay. What I didn't expect is that this car was a bit of a hoopty. It was listed as a non-convertible. That's not strictly accurate. It is a convertible whose top doesn't work and has been permanently closed. It also had one tail light out, and the tire pressure monitor light came on all the time. (The tires had air--it was just malfunctioning.) The trunk had to be opened by pulling a string attached to the emergency release pull, and routed across the backseats to the front of the car. So yeah, basically, this car is cheap and functional, but has clearly been rode hard and put up wet. It was definitely not as well maintained as my own Fiat had been. But if you need basic cheap transportation that's easy to park, it is cheaper than renting from a rental car company.

The car had issues with the tire pressure but there was no fix just to ignore it. The car didn’t drive that well and whistled due to the convertible being sealed. Other than that, it was fine and worth the money paid.

Not really ideal for me running errands using the trunk as it was inconvenient at times...the owner understood and was able to work things out...great car just needs to fix a few minor issues

Rented again, was as considerate and reliable as the first time, highly recommend!
