Faqs

  • How many miles can I get on a single charge of the battery?

The official electric range of the 2013 Volt is 38miles. In my experience, it has been around 30miles.

  • How do I connect my music to the car speakers?!?

I have provided an AUX cord if you would like to connect to the speakers that way. To change the audio input to AUX, you will have to press the "Source" button on the center console until you get to the AUX setting. To connect via bluetooth, this video gives a good walkthrough: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=geIvKM2v7Cg

  • How do I know where I can charge the car?

Here is a great website that shows you EV charging locations with the price per hour. There are a fair number of free spots. You want to filter the charging types to the J-1772 charger - that is the one that the Volt uses.

  • Can I charge my phone in the car?

Yes! I have provided a iphone charging cord as well as a USB-C charging cord for Android devices. Both cords are already plugged in and ready to go. You are more than welcome to use them., but please don't take them with you :)
