PICKUP INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Before we start your trip, Turo and Liberty Mutual insurance require re-verifying your drivers license. Please upload a clearly legible, close up picture of your drivers license to the Trip Photos section in the reservation page in your Turo app. 2. Upload a second picture of you holding the drivers license next to your face, like a selfie. Please make sure the picture is clear and includes the entire LEGIBLE drivers license along with your entire face. Once I receive BOTH pictures I can remotely unlock my car and start your trip. 3. My car is parked in the Pike Outlet Mall parking structure in Downtown Long Beach: The Pike Outlet Mall parking garage 65 Cedar Ave Long Beach, CA 90802 https://goo.gl/maps/M5Km6yMUDa92 I park my car near the west entrance off Chestnut, in row 2e west, near the spiral exit ramp. The easiest way to find it is to take the stairs near the management office at the corner of Seaside Way and Chestnut Place. When you reach yellow level 2, enter the structure and turn right. My car is parked along the south wall, in row 2e west, near the spiral exit ramp. Within 24 hours of your trip’s start, I will upload photos to document my car’s condition and its exact location. Please see the Trip Photos in your Turo app for reference. Once you arrive my car and upload your drivers license and selfie pictures, call me at +1-213-591-5486 so I can unlock my car for you. Please note that because of my work schedule, I may not be able to pick up the phone right away between the hours of 1 am to 11 am. During those hours if I don’t pick up right away please call me again until I am able to pick up. 4. I encourage you to upload 5-10 photos of my car to your Turo app. This is to document the condition of the car when you received it, so you are not mistakenly held liable for any pre-existing damage. 5. Retrieve my car’s key fob, stored in the Faraday pouch in the black organizer on the sun visor. Owners manuals, registration and insurance cards are in the glove compartment. Please feel free to pair your smartphone to my car’s Bluetooth, if applicable. 6. Guidelines

Please inform me immediately if you used any toll roads or received any moving violation or parking tickets during your trip. Tolls and tickets will be billed within 90 days. Please return the car in the same clean condition as you received it, as documented by the car condition photos. Excessive filth, food, or animal hair will incur a minimum $30 cleaning fee. No smoking or vaping of any type is allowed in the car. If cigarette or marijuana odors are found, a $250 cleaning fee will be charged, per Turo policy: https://support.turo.com/hc/en-us/articles/203990550-Smoking-Policy If you need to pick up or drop off the vehicle between the hours of 10 pm and 7 am, I'll need at least 24 hours notice to coordinate logistics with you.   • Do I need to fill up the gas tank before I return the car? What kind of fuel should I use?

  • Does the car come with a toll road pass?

    My Prius is equipped with an automatic toll billing feature. You can drive through any toll highway and/or bridge in California. When I receive the bill I will send you a reimbursement request through the Turo app.

    COVID-19 UPDATE: Here are some of the additional steps we are taking to keep you safe: 1. Enhanced sanitation protocols. All of our cars are cleaned and disinfected before each rental. This includes spraying Ozium to disinfect the cabin air, and using disinfectant wipes on all high-touch surfaces including the steering wheel, gearshift, handles, knobs, buttons, and arm rests. 2. Accelerated maintenance schedules. All of our cars undergo meticulous weekly maintenance by our trained staff and AAA-certified mechanics. 3. Vehicle quarantine procedures. If we are informed one of our cars has been in contact with Covid-19, we immediately deactivate the car. During your rental, we also highly recommend the following: 1. Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces. If possible, use disinfectant wipes or 70% Isopropyl Alcohol to wipe down all frequently touched surfaces in the car. 2. Keep the cabin air fresh.
