PICKUP INSTRUCTIONS: 1. My car is parked in the Pike Outlet Mall parking structure in Downtown Long Beach: The Pike Outlet Mall parking garage 65 Cedar Ave Long Beach, CA 90802 https://goo.gl/maps/M5Km6yMUDa92 I park my car near the west entrance off Chestnut, in row 2e west, near the spiral exit ramp. The easiest way to find it is to take the stairs near the management office at the corner of Seaside Way and Chestnut Place. When you reach yellow level 2, enter the structure and turn right. My car is parked along the south wall, in row 2e west, near the spiral exit ramp. Within 24 hours of your trip’s start, I will upload photos to document my car’s condition and its exact location. Please see the Trip Photos in your Turo app for reference. 2. This vehicle is part of the Turo Go program. When your reservation starts, you will be able to unlock and lock my car using your Bluetooth-enabled smartphone. When you physically arrive at my car, your Turo app will automatically display the remote unlock and lock controls. 3. I encourage you to upload 5-10 photos of my car to your Turo app. This is to document the condition of the car when you received it, so you are not mistakenly held liable for any pre-existing damage. 4. Retrieve my car’s key fob, stored in the Faraday pouch in the organizer on the sun visor. If my car won’t start, lock the car with your Turo app. Then unlock the car with the regular key fob. You should now be able to start the engine. If you’re still having trouble, please call Turo Go Customer Support at (415) 463-3200. Owners manuals, registration and insurance cards are in the glove compartment. Please feel free to pair your smartphone to my car’s Bluetooth, if applicable. 5.   • Does the car come with a toll road pass?

    The car comes equipped with a FasTrak toll transponder under the rearview mirror. Prior to your trip, please set the transponder switch to the correct number of passengers in the car: 1, 2, or 3+. FasTrak allows toll access to all California toll roads and bridges without having to stop at a toll booth. We will ask for reimbursement at the end of the trip, which is payable via the Turo app.

  • I'm arriving or leaving in the middle of the night. Can I still pick up the car?

    If you need to pick up or drop off the vehicle between the hours of 10 pm and 7 am, I'll need at least 24 hours notice to coordinate logistics with you.

  • I'm going to be late for the pickup or return of the car. What happens now?

    If you're going to be late for the pick up of the car, just call me and we'll work out the logistics. If you're going to be late for the return, please call me as soon as possible. Late fees start at $50/hour, per Turo policy. I will do my best to accommodate all reasonable requests.

  • How do I use the FasTrak toll transponder?

    The FasTrak toll transponder is located behind the rearview mirror, and gives you automated pay-per-use access to all the toll roads and bridges in California. Please inform me immediately if you used any toll roads or received any moving violation or parking tickets during your trip. Tolls and tickets will be billed within 90 days. To use the transponder, before you start driving, set the switch to the number of passengers in the car. Then you can drive right up and through any toll road or bridge. Often you will find that California toll roads and bridges are free when you have 2 or more people in the car. For example, here in Los Angeles on the 10 and 110 freeways, carpools of 2 or more are free. On the 91 freeway, 3 or more passengers are free. And a number of bridges in the San Francisco Bay Area are free at certain times off the day with 3 or more passengers.

  • What is Turo Go?

    This vehicle is part of the Turo Go program. You will be able to unlock, lock, and start the vehicle using your Bluetooth-enabled smartphone after completing the required paperwork from Turo. Please consult your Turo app for verification and unlocking instructions.

  • What are you doing to protect me from Covid-19?

This guy just wanted to ruin my trip. Thanks for doing that man! Ur car by the way left a huge bruise on my back because of your lumbar support. Which I will contacting customer support about.

I am sorry you had a bad experience on your trip. The lumbar support button is located on the side of your driver seat and can easily be adjusted. I’m sorry you weren’t able to find that button, located next to all the other power seat adjustment buttons. To my fellow hosts, I will not be renting to Hashim again. He smoked heavily in my car and I needed a full interior detailing to get rid of the smell. He also ran over his mileage allotment and returned my car with a nearly empty gas tank.

Please don’t forget to include pictures of the odometer, fuel gauge, and where the car is located in the structure. 3. Store the white parking key card in the black organizer on the sun visor. 4. Store the key fob INSIDE THE GOLD POCKET of the Faraday bag stored in the sun visor organizer. The bag keeps the key fob from transmitting so the car cannot be unlocked or stolen after you leave. Leave the blue Metro Tap Card in the Turo organizer for the next renter. 5. Remove all your belongings and LOCK THE CAR.

Excessive filth, food, or animal hair will incur a minimum $30 cleaning fee. No smoking or vaping of any type is allowed in the car. If you're going to be late for the pick up of the car, just call me and we'll work out the logistics. If you're going to be late for the return, please call me as soon as possible. Late fees start at $50/hour, per Turo policy. I will do my best to accommodate all reasonable requests. Please do not fill up with gasoline that contains more than 15% ethanol. Please be advised I do NOT allow any form of towing or the use of snow chains on any of my cars. If you use my car to tow, or install snow chains, your insurance will be void and you will be liable for any damages.

  • Do I need to fill up the gas tank before I return the car? What kind of fuel should I use?

  • Is smoking or vaping allowed?

  • Does the car come with a toll road pass?

    The car comes equipped with a FasTrak toll transponder under the rearview mirror. Prior to your trip, please set the transponder switch to the correct number of passengers in the car: 1, 2, or 3+. FasTrak allows toll access to all California toll roads and bridges without having to stop at a toll booth. We will ask for reimbursement at the end of the trip, which is payable via the Turo app.

  • I'm arriving or leaving in the middle of the night. Can I still pick up the car?

    If you need to pick up or drop off the vehicle between the hours of 10 pm and 7 am, I'll need at least 24 hours notice to coordinate logistics with you.

  • I'm going to be late for the pickup or return of the car. What happens now?

  • How do I use the FasTrak toll transponder?

    The FasTrak toll transponder is located behind the rearview mirror, and gives you automated pay-per-use access to all the toll roads and bridges in California. Please inform me immediately if you used any toll roads or received any moving violation or parking tickets during your trip. Tolls and tickets will be billed within 90 days. To use the transponder, before you start driving, set the switch to the number of passengers in the car. Then you can drive right up and through any toll road or bridge. Often you will find that California toll roads and bridges are free when you have 2 or more people in the car. For example, here in Los Angeles on the 10 and 110 freeways, carpools of 2 or more are free. On the 91 freeway, 3 or more passengers are free. And a number of bridges in the San Francisco Bay Area are free at certain times off the day with 3 or more passengers.

  • What is Turo Go?

    This vehicle is part of the Turo Go program. You will be able to unlock, lock, and start the vehicle using your Bluetooth-enabled smartphone after completing the required paperwork from Turo. Please consult your Turo app for verification and unlocking instructions.

  • What are you doing to protect me from Covid-19?

    COVID-19 UPDATE: Here are some of the additional steps we are taking to keep you safe: 1. Enhanced sanitation protocols. All of our cars are cleaned and disinfected before each rental. This includes spraying Ozium to disinfect the cabin air, and using disinfectant wipes on all high-touch surfaces including the steering wheel, gearshift, handles, knobs, buttons, and arm rests. 2. Accelerated maintenance schedules. All of our cars undergo meticulous weekly maintenance by our trained staff and AAA-certified mechanics. 3. Vehicle quarantine procedures. If we are informed one of our cars has been in contact with Covid-19, we immediately deactivate the car. During your rental, we also highly recommend the following: 1. Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces. If possible, use disinfectant wipes or 70% Isopropyl Alcohol to wipe down all frequently touched surfaces in the car. 2. Keep the cabin air fresh. If possible, keep the air conditioning set to fresh (do NOT re-circulate) and/or drive with the windows down. 3. Practice good hygiene. Wash your hands for 20 seconds and/or use hand sanitizer frequently. Thank you again for renting from us!

This guy just wanted to ruin my trip. Thanks for doing that man! Ur car by the way left a huge bruise on my back because of your lumbar support. Which I will contacting customer support about.

I am sorry you had a bad experience on your trip. The lumbar support button is located on the side of your driver seat and can easily be adjusted. I’m sorry you weren’t able to find that button, located next to all the other power seat adjustment buttons. To my fellow hosts, I will not be renting to Hashim again. He smoked heavily in my car and I needed a full interior detailing to get rid of the smell. He also ran over his mileage allotment and returned my car with a nearly empty gas tank.
