Description
Aloha! This 2012 Toyota Prius is a great Garden Island vacation car. This car is not new, and has some scratches and stains, which makes it perfect for adventuring. Unlimited miles! Bluetooth, Cold AC, iPhone chargers, 50 MPGs, and plenty of room for 5 people and some cargo. Eco mode keeps money in your pocket, or use it on extra shave ice! Once you've arrived at the Lihue Airport, and collected your bags, head out the doors and to the right (North). You'll see the Turo van! Hop on board and they'll bring you to the Turo lot. Contact me for more precise location of your vehicle, and code to the lock box. The Prius must be returned as clean as it was when you received it. Accidents happen, but please be careful. We love our car! The gas should be filled as well, regular or premium unleaded please. We service this car regularly, and it has current safety and emissions stickers. FAQs
Can I drive this on the sand?
No. The Prius has a low clearance and towing on the island is VERY expensive. Please stay off the sand to avoid you being charged to tow or fix the vehicle.
Is there a surf rack?
No, but you can fit some short boards or foamies in the back if you lay the seats down.
Will I be charged an extra cleaning fee for sand or mud?
Maybe. We live on an island, and you will likely get sand and mud in the vehicle. That being said, please clean the car to the condition it was given to you at the beginning of your trip to avoid an extra cleaning fee. Most guests do a lovely job of trying their best to maintain our car, and so they do not get charged to clean it.
Where is the cheapest gas?
Costco gasoline is the cheapest by far on the island, but you need to have a membership card to use it.
Can I smoke in the car?
No. Absolutely no smoking in the car whatsoever. You will be charged a LARGE fee for cleaning if there is any smoke smell detected after your trip.
What is the gas mileage for the Prius?
About 50 mpg! You can go anywhere you want to on the island and still have money in your pocket!
