Description
Come rent this brand new Tesla model 3 and cruise around Kauai in style! If you haven’t driven a Tesla before don’t worry as I can walk you through the process as well as give you some quick tutorials. With the white interior it just feels super luxurious! As far as charging goes we do have some chargers around the island as well as some hotels. If you’re staying at an air bnb you can also plug in there as well. I can also charge at my home and bring it back to you for a fee. Please do not let range get below 40 miles! I highly recommend planning out your charging points before booking to have a more enjoyable and vacation. ALSO PLEASE STAY ON PAVEMENT. THIS INCLUDES ANY SIDE ROADS OR BEACH PARKS AS ROCKS OR DIRT MAY CAUSE SCRATCHES ON PAINT! MAHALO Aloha and looking forward to linking up with you! 🤙🏽 Due to new airport guidelines we are no longer able to do airport deliveries. With this new guidelines turo now has an offsite lot along with a airport shuttle that takes you to and from the lot. Shuttle starts at 7am from the turo lot til 11pm. Shuttle goes back and forth with about 30 minute intervals. For pickup at my residence you would need to catch an Uber/Lyft or taxi which is about 2 miles away.

Guidelines
Default pickup will be at my residence but I do offer a few delivery spots nearby. I will provide you with an estimated location. Please stay on pavement. Please no pets. Absolutely no smoking of any kind! This includes vape pens as well. If any smoke smell is detected there will be a $250 extra fee for smoke removal. Please no off roading and/or riding in sand. An additional $250 cleaning fee will be applied if there is excess sand/dirt in the vehicle. Also per Turo rules: Cars must be returned with the same level of charge and in the same condition as when the trip started. If you could just keep the interior clean I’d appreciate that and I’ll take care of the exterior. There are car washes you can go to vacuum up any unnecessary dirt or sand. If you can’t get to one before the end of your trip you can always opt for the cleaning fee. Mahalo! Please bring back the vehicle with at least 200 miles of range to avoid charging fees.

The car was in perfect condition and the pickup location was near the airport. Curtis was extremely helpful in getting us to the pickup location. He was also very friendly and offered us numerous suggestions on great food locations, of which we took complete advantage. My only suggestion is for there to be more rapid DC charging locations throughout the island. Once those are in place this will be the perfect rental car. Thank you Curtis and best wishes.

We thoroughly enjoyed renting Curtis' Model 3 in Kauai! It's exactly as described. Would rent from him again next time in Kauai. He's also very responsive. Note that in Kauai - Turo rentals are not allowed to be parked at the airport. Turo does have an off airport lot, but Curtis' location happens to be very close to the airport (5 minute drive) so might be worth considering taking an uber/taxi to his place instead of a shuttle to the Turo lot. He was also nice enough to drive us to the airport to save us an uber fare so that was a big plus!

I highly recommend renting from Curtis! His car is in perfect condition. What a blast I had driving a Tesla for the first time. Curtis was extremely patient giving me pointers on driving and charging a Tesla before and during the trip. He went above and beyond offering Kauai travel pointers too. His recommendations were right on. I heard from another traveler who rented from Turo about a bad experience that left them stranded for hours. Lihue Airport is on to Turo so there's some extra work involved getting your car. I recommend doing your research on Turo renters. You don't want to get stuck with a someone sloppy on details. I can tell you to trust Curtis!!

If I could give Curtis a 10 star review I would. He was so helpful and accommodating from advising on adjusting our times of pick up to avoid an extra day charge, to recommending restaurants and even gave us a ride to the airport after dropping off the car. The car was clean and fun to drive. Poipu had charging options making it stress free to drive it around. Thank you Curtis for making our trip even more fun and carefree.
