The car was a blast to drive and the FSD was very impressive, Richie is great guy most definitely will be renting from him again pickup and drop off was a breeze.

I would give negative stars if I could. I booked this car for my boyfriend’s birthday, and the experience was a nightmare from start to finish.
When I picked up the car, it was filthy with water spots and dust all over. I had never driven a Tesla before, so I asked for a rundown. The owner gave me a rushed 30-second explanation while pulling trash out of the car, admitting he wasn’t prepared for my pickup. He even suggested I run it through a car wash and promised reimbursement, which I never received despite spending $25.
On our way to Wendover, I got pulled over because the car had a tinted license plate cover, which is illegal in Utah. The officer also informed me that the registration had been expired since May! I immediately texted the owner, who offered a half-hearted apology and said I could return the car for a refund. However, I didn’t see his message until I reached Wendover. When I replied, he refused to refund me unless I returned the car immediately, which was impossible given our plans.
The owner argued with me for over an hour via text, refusing to offer any compensation for the stress and hassle. He even threatened to come to Wendover to retrieve the car, leaving us stranded. Eventually, he offered a 20% discount and reimbursement for the car wash upon return.
On Saturday afternoon, he disabled sport mode and limited the car’s speed to 10 mph over the limit. Despite this, I kept the car until Monday as planned. I returned it in perfect condition, as verified by Tesla’s drive reports, and completed all checkout procedures on Turo.
Days later, the owner accused me of damaging the back driver-side bumper, claiming the damage occurred on 10/27, which was impossible since I returned the car on 10/28. He provided no proof and reported it to Turo, clearly trying to fraudulently claim damages.
This owner is not trustworthy and does not stand by his word. He tried to blame me for damage I didn’t cause, likely because I opted for premier coverage. The entire experience was a nightmare. I highly encourage you to NOT RENT FROM HIM!
