**This vehicle is NOT PERMITTED to travel out of state and no more than 200 miles away from home location, unless discussed and approved by host** We are only covered for 200 miles for towing in the event of any incidents on a trip. If we approve an exemption, the GUEST WILL BE RESPONSIBLE for any additional costs beyond what host is covered for. William & Christine’s 2015 Nissan Versa Note is a small but very roomy vehicle! It feels safe, comfortable, and fun. This car has 5 seatbelts, seats 4 adults comfortably, has ample trunk space (enough to fit at least 2 large suitcases), great on gas and easy to maneuver! Take it for your next road adventure or city getaway! Destination convenience fee is worth every penny. Save time, hassle of waiting, and money from ride share and rental car companies. Imagine walking out of the airport doors with your vehicle waiting for you hassle free! For no charge pick up and drop off, we have 3 home bases: Lawndale area (closest to LAX), Torrance, and Cerritos (closest to Long Beach airport). ** LAX Delivery Fees: $50-$90 - Usually are curbside pick-up, otherwise we will provide a lock box for you to self check in at a near by hotel/valet or parking garage. We will confirm with you how delivery will be at the time of booking.** We do the following manufacturer recommended maintenance: *Synthetic Oil and filter change every 5,000 miles or less. *transmission fluid exchange every 60,000 miles or less. *Tire rotation every 7,000 miles or less. And other manufacturer recommendations for certain services at specific intervals to help keep our vehicle performing at peak levels. Beyond manufacturer recommendations such as: *Restore Engine Restorer & Lubricant is a high performance oil additive that increases compression in older high-mileage engines. The unique CSL formula fills worn areas of the cylinder walls to reduce blow-by and restore compression to near original levels. Restoring cylinder compression improves combustion to increase horsepower, reduce oil burning, maximize fuel mileage and restore peak engine performance. In addition, it provides extreme pressure lubrication to help protect engine components from excessive wear. * The Techron Concentrate Plus fuel treatment is a powerful product that cleans your entire fuel system

Guidelines

- Pick up/drop off address sent after booking. ** LAX Delivery Fees: $50-$90 - Usually are curbside pick-up, otherwise we will provide a lock box for you to self check in at a near by hotel/valet or parking garage. We will confirm with you how delivery will be at the time of booking.** - Show us your drivers license to pick up keys and vehicle. **NO SMOKING, NO PETS** - NO SMOKING or any type of marijuana smell is allowed in the car. If there is any lingering smell, we will report to TURO and you will be charged in excess $250 for detail and cleaning services. - Gas tank will be full or almost full at pick up, and will need to be at the same level upon return. We use Unleaded 89 gas. Please note, per Turo policy, Travelers are responsible for bringing back the vehicle with the same gas level as when it was picked up. If not filled, you will be charged the actual cost of gas + $10 inconvenience fee. - Vehicle will be given clean, therefore please return in same condition.   • Do I have to fill up the gas upon return?

    We will give you the car with a full or almost full tank of gas, and ask that you return it at the same level. We use Premium Unleaded gas (89). If you are unable to return the vehicle with a full tank of gas, you will be charged and incidental fee of $10 plus the cost of gas ***SAVE TIME & purchase post trip re-fueling to avoid charges***

  • Do I have to wash the car upon return?

    We will give you the car cleaned and disinfected, per Turo Policy. We ask that you return the vehicle in the same condition it was given to you. We are not responsible for any items left in the vehicle. Anything that requires more than a waterless wash and shakeout of car mats will be charged an incidental fee of $50-250 (per Turo policy: https://support.turo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000808347-Cleaning-policy). ***SAVE TIME & purchase post trip cleaning to avoid charges***

  • Will car come activated with toll pass?

    Car will have license plate that is registered with the toll roads that is accessible at all California toll roads and bridges. We will ask for reimbursement at end of trip and payable via Turo app.

  • Is smoking permitted in the car?

    NO SMOKING! If there is any lingering smell cigarette, marijuana, vaping smell we will report to Turo. Turo can charge in excess $250 for detail and cleaning services.

  • What happens if I get into an accident?

    If you happen to get in a car accident, First, make sure you are ok and safe. Call Turo 24/7 Customer Support and Roadside Assistance # (415) 965-4525 support.turo.com The glove box will contain the Turo Incident Information card. Please follow the instructions on the card, which reads: "This card must be kept in the insured vehicle and presented upon demand"; "In case of accident during the Turo reservation period"; "Report all accident to Turo as soon as possible. Always obtain the following information - The name, address, and phone number of each driver, passenger, and witness - The insurance company and policy number for all vehicles involved".

  • What if the 'Check Engine light happens to turn on during my reservation period?

    In general, it is still safe to drive the vehicle if the check engine light pops up (this usually means that there could be a loose gas cap, an O2 sensor, etc). These are not vital, so please just message us that it is on, and we will be in contact with you. IF the check engine light is continuously BLINKING ON AND OFF - Please PULL OVER and contact us immediately.

  • What happens if I get pulled over for a traffic violation?

    If you happen to get pulled over, the glove box will contain the owner's registration, insurance, and Turo Incident Information card. Let the police officer know that the vehicle is being rented through the TURO platform.

  • How do I Connect my Android Phone to Bluetooth?

    1. Go to settings > Bluetooth and make sure your device’s Bluetooth function is on. 2. If you have a Nissan vehicle with navigation, press the phone button on your vehicle audio system. Then choose connect > connect new device. If you don’t have navigation, press the Enter/Setting button on your vehicle. Then go to Bluetooth > Add phone. 3. Look back at your device and go to settings > Bluetooth. Now select MY-CAR. 4. Your device and your vehicle should now be displaying a PIN number. If they match, you can accept the pairing request on your device!

  • How do I Connect my Apple iPhone to Bluetooth?

    1. Go to settings > Bluetooth and make sure your device’s Bluetooth function is on. 2. If you have a Nissan vehicle with navigation, press the phone button on your vehicle audio system.
