Guidelines

As per Turo's rules, the car must be returned in the same condition it was received (interior and exterior). We can bill you to have the car cleaned after drop off. **If you are dropping off after sunset we will inspect the vehicle under proper lighting or when the sun rises the next day. *Any late return will lead to a late return fee according to Turo regulations. Or result in theft. Bring the vehicle back at the time your rental is scheduled to end. ***Please do not use our vehicles for any photographing/video, YouTube endeavors, or any commercial work without consulting with us first. Please read Turos terms and conditions for more info. -No pets please unless they are service animals. -Absolutely NO SMOKING. Turo charges up to $250 for smoking. -Any food particles must be cleaned up before returning the vehicle. No smudges or residues please. Drink spillage will incur a deep cleaning fee. -No racing or reckless driving. * Please note: $10 Cleaning/Disinfecting Fee will be charged if vehicle is returned dirty inside or out. You will be charged $15 if their is sand left in the vehicle from beach ⛱ activities Very hard to get out and vehicle was brought to you with no sand. I was traveling with my family and there were 4 of us, the front passenger safe belt buckle was broken so the passenger on that seat had to hold the belt to avoid getting a ticket which wasn’t safe as well. There was no sun pass in the car, so I had to stay in traffic avoiding toll roads while other car shares I used before had the sun pass and they would normally bill me all tolls after my trip. Also I was confused when I got the car with 1/4 full gas tank and tire pressure warning sign.

We apologize for any inconvenience. Honestly Your stating about the sun pass but I believe we agreed you would pay your tolls in cash or you will be billed through turo. I wouldn’t be confused with the gas it is quite simple really you bring it back with the same amount as you received it. We are honored you gave us a try but I believe your just morally un satisfied. We do our best to earn everyone’s 5 stars we apologize we could not earn yours today.

Once I confirmed the turo booking and received a confirmation, I attempted to secure my Guest weekly parking pass for the Hollywood area airb n b I booked for the trip. I entered the vin and plate number listed/noted on the car rental documents area here on turo. 1. I paid and reserved for airport pick up at 6pm. The rental was late even after the30min grace period. The host tried to justify the grace period was mentioned on the details, even so I didn't even have my car and it was well over the 30 minutes. ("Due to a accident ") 2. I called the host a few times before they even chose to pick up. The lady confirmed Station 1 was the pick up area. Called again as the 30 minutes were well over and I received a message on the turo app stating the car would be dropped off else where at the hibiscus parking lot. (poor communication) My child and I had been traveling since 5am with no food and this was sooo inconvenient. We walked to the airport across a bridge and down to the floor level of the parking lot. Then we receive a text saying the car was dropped.off to.look in the glove compartment box for the keys. No detailed text of what stall or ( in this case) instructions for me to zoom in on the picture to see the actual floor and stall the car was left in. 3. Finally found the car in the 2nd floor far end. First thing I noticed was the license plate listed on the turo rental car documents was not the same. (Therefore, my previously purchased guest weekly parking permit would be invalidated, as payments are credited to the pertaining license plate) 4. I called the host to try to address this issue or find a solution and his words were "sorry for your agression" Seriously! He made other sarcastic comments. He also said the plate in the picture listed on turo was a temporary liscense plate. Completely ignoring that I didn't use the plate shown on the listing but the actual plate listed on the confirmed reservation documents. I didn'twant to continue arguing. I explained to him my last time using turo was over a year ago and nothing was like this. Not helpful and his solution was to write the new plate number on the receipt. Or "call them people" 5. My daughter and I get In the car only to find out the Passenger seat did not work and it was not disclosed. Our whole trip my daughter had to sit in the back seat like a uber passenger. 6. I made an attempt to call and address this undisclosed issue only to find out the host blocked my phone number. I know I passed two sun pass areas and now waiting to see what else pops up. The car was nice aside from the seatbelt issue and Hosts horrible communication, Iack of consideration and undisclosed non working features. We all want money but if you can't provide customer service for a business you operate you should reconsidered. I had to make all communication efforts to find the vehicle. Even after the host said let me know if anything else and simply blocked me. Who does that?
