Post-trip cleaning

Guidelines

Off-road driving is not allowed. Please, no smoking or vaping, no pets, no food. This car is super clean inside and out - please help us keep it that way! If you do smoke/vape or have pets in the vehicle, you will be subject to the maximum $250 fine. The host has the right to refuse service or cancel, especially if the customer is intoxicated. Please return the car in the same condition as you received it. Pick up any trash, and ensure the interior isn't full of dirt, sand, or debris (or add the post-trip cleaning for $25!). The vehicle will be photographed before and after each trip. Any noticeable scrapes or dents will incur a repair fee. Please be careful of curbing/scratching the wheels. It is very common and usually costs a minimum of $75 per wheel. No reckless driving, the car will be limited remotely if you are recklessly driving over speed limits. Please ensure there's between 15%-20% battery left when dropping the car off so I have enough power to make it to a charger. Don't let the battery drain to 0% or you will incur a fee for permanent damage to the battery and the cost of a tow truck to tow you to a charging station. I am very easy to get in touch with, and will never be far from my phone if you have ANY questions or concerns during your trip! My #1 priority is that you have an enjoyable, carefree experience with my car, so please keep me informed of any and all ways I can ensure that happens! All trips can start only at booked "Trip Start Time" or later and end on or before booked "Trip End Time". If you want to get the vehicle earlier than booked, or you need it for a longer time, please go to your trip details and click on the "Modify Trip" button to request a change. If the vehicle is returned after the trip is officially ended, there is a late fee of $30 per hour or fraction of it, so please make all extensions in advance and reflect the correct drop-off time to avoid fees.

  • Need to pick up the car early?

    Simply log into the app and change your pick-up time. Insurance coverage is only valid during the booked time listed on the app. We kindly ask that if you need to pick up the vehicle early that you go into the TURO app and adjust your rental time accordingly. It’s very easy to do. (TURO does not want us to release a vehicle to a renter unless the rental period has started.) Likewise, if you will be late returning a vehicle, you must call and notify TURO at 1-866-735-2901 so that you will be protected with insurance coverage.

  • Can I let someone else drive the car?

    Only the person who rents the car is insured to drive the vehicle. If you expect that someone else might drive the vehicle, simply upload their valid driver's license to the TURO app. It’s very easy to do. Unfortunately, failure to do this will cause insurance to be void, and you will be personally liable for the full cost of any damage.

  • What if there is damage to the vehicle or get into an accident?

    Please notify us of any damage or accidents that happen during your rental. We appreciate your honesty and will work with you to solve the problem.

  • Returning the car late?

    If you will be late returning a vehicle, you must call and notify TURO at 1-866-735-2901 so that you will be protected with insurance coverage. Please note that sometimes a vehicle has back-to-back rentals and can be going out only an hour after it’s returned. Any late return will lead to a late return fee according to Turo regulations.

Good communication and coordination. Car was clean. We had an easy pick up and drop off, even though the location is about 20 minutes from the airport. All went well and I can definitely recommend Eddie and his Chevy Volt.
