• Can I go all the way around the island?

  Absolutely not. This vehicle is not equipped for the unpaved road. It also becomes very narrow with just one car able to go at a time. Too dangerous. It is highly recommended to sign up for a tour group instead of driving yourself. Many rental cars sustain damage from the rough terrain and or other cars and accidents occur due to inexperience driving our roads. You will be responsible for any and all damage sustained if you drive in any of these areas. You will also be responsible for the loss of rental income due to the time the car will be unable to be rented out.

• Why does it show you cancelled trips? Will you cancel on me?

  I just joined the TURO community earlier this year and it was a computer glitch and rookie mistake. It was regarding pricing on a luxury vehicle that we've since decided not to list. In short it accidentally went live with a default price far far below the market.

• Can I do the the RTH? (Road to Hana)?

  Although capable we prefer this vehicle not go into Hana. Their rural community has been inundated and frustrations are high. The state has also implemented "No Parking" signs along the way that carry fines. This is to deter the many cars stopping in unsafe areas and blocking traffic. We highly recommend going with one of the tours and just enjoy. Kick your feet up while someone else does the driving. • Can we drive the road to Hana or countryside ?

  The road to Hana and the countrysides are not for inexperienced drivers. There are many curves, narrow one way bumpy roads. There are large boulders and rocks that may impede easy driving. The local traffic comes in and out. The tourist traffic and illegal parking has caused issues with the county and locals. It is highly recommended to sign up for a tour group instead of driving yourself. Many rental cars sustain damage from the rough terrain and or other cars and accidents occur due to inexperience driving our roads. You will be responsible for any and all damage sustained if you drive in any of these areas. You will also be responsible for the loss of rental income due to the time the car will be unable to be rented out.

• Can we drive to Waihe’e Valley or to other areas on dirt unpaved roads ?

  No. Absolutely not. The hybrid is not an off-road vehicle. The valley and off-road areas are off-limits. You can rent and off-road vehicle or go with a tour group. Any damages and loss of use caused by you driving in off-limit areas will be charged to you.

• Excessive dirt and sand.

  If the car is left with excessive dirt and or sand you will be charged an extra cleaning fee and will be in violation of the Turo guidelines.

• General Tidy up appreciated.

  🫧🧹We stive to deliver a well maintained and clean vehicle for every guest. Sunscreen is super important to help keep you safe while you visit. Although it's a necessity, it does stain the vehicle. Please be mindful while applying and make sure it's done outside of the vehicle and towels are put down on the seats if you're coming from the beach. We're on an island 🏝️ and expect there will be traces of sand. Otherwise we'll worry you didn't have a good time. That being said, please be sure to brush yourselves off and shake out the towels before entering the car. Before checkout, please help us by getting out any excess sand and shaking out the mats. General tidying up.
