Unfortunately, my flight was cancelled, and I arrived a full day late. I notified the host as soon as I found out, but I was still charged for the day I wasn’t able to use the vehicle. I understand policies are in place, but some flexibility or partial credit would have been appreciated under the circumstances. The car itself was fine, but the experience was disappointing due to the lack of accommodation.
Unfortunately, Billing and refunds are handled by Turo, not us hosts.
We have zero control over those kind of issues.
Turo handles everything, We just provide the cars.
If you have any issue with Turos policies, I would encourage you to rate them on their policies. Not us as a host.
Just to be clear, you notified us of your flight delay, 3.5 hours after your trip had already started, and the car was already dropped off at the airport for your trip.

This was my first time using Turo and I’m in my wife’s hometown all the way from the Bay Area. From the moment I reserved the car Corey was very pleasant to communicate with and extremely helpful and friendly. I’m blessed he saved me on my 7 year wedding anniversary and I won’t ever forget it. Most definitely will recommend.
