This is permanently attached and tolls are charged after each trip. The Tesla Model S provides you with state-of-the-art luxury and performance that almost any other vehicle is unrivaled. This is an all-electric car that was won multiple awards, including 2013 World Green Car of the Year & 2013 Motor Trend Car of the Year. This model is the 75 edition that will provide you with a range of up to 224 miles and is set for Chill mode going 0-60 in 7.2 seconds. The max speed is set to 90 mph. please know that there is a loss of range when traveling at speeds greater than 55 mph. This loss is quite noticeable when traveling at speeds greater than 70 mph. Guidelines
She's my baby; please treat her nice =) Keep the car smoke-free. Otherwise, a $250 fee will cover the ozone smoke removal treatment. Please no pets and rinse off and dry all beach gear before putting it in the vehicle. There will be an additional $140 fee for pet hair or sand removal. No eating in the vehicle. There will be a $60 fee if food is found. Damage to the battery will occur if the charge goes below 10%. Be mindful of this and find a charger before it goes this low. To offset the expense of replacing the $21,000 battery, there is a $100 fee for driving under a 7% charge and a $350 fee for driving under 2%. Please return the car charged over 80% so the next guests can start their trip charged up. If you don't have the time, please purchase the extra, and I'll plan.

How do I charge your electric car?
Touch the map, and a few icons will show up. Pressing the icon on the right side of the screen (lightning bolt) will bring up a list of the closest chargers. Most destination chargers (at hotels) are slower but free. These are great for charging overnight. Superchargers are much faster and are currently free. This vehicle has free supercharging =) There is a charge of $1 per minute that the car is left at a Supercharger after charging is complete. Set an alarm so that you don't pay these fees.
Should I wash and clean the car?
Don't take the vehicle through a car wash. This will destroy the vinyl wrap. We'll take care of washing the outside, but please bring it back with the inside as clean as it was when you picked it up. If you don't have time to clean, my cleaners can help you for a small fee.
How are tolls charged?
Tolls are billed to my EPass account and requested as a reimbursement after your trip. I charge nothing more than what I'm billed for.

Great host, very accomodating and provides valuable operational details for those new to driving an EV. This was my first time driving the Model S and it was really fun. The unit I rented was a 2016 and still handled with the tight feel of a new car. I would surely recommend Stefan as host for anyone looking to have a relaxed first EV experience.
