If you take the Southern route from Makawao, you can visit the Maui Winery and Ulupalakua Ranch Store, but kindly turn around there. ⚠️Driving further is prohibited as the road is very rough with potholes, contains areas that are not paved entirely, and often has rocks and boulders from previous landslides.
