Description

Please note, this is a 2018 model, not a 2017 as listed. The Vanderhall Venice is the closest thing to a motorcycle without actually having to ride a motorcycle. Imagine the feeling of the wind rushing through your hair, (or on your skin if your bald), sitting just inches from the road, with an open air cockpit around you, ....with many of the advantages of a car. No need to worry about helmets, gloves, heavy gear, or the clutch/brake and balance of a motorcycle. This Venice gives surefooted grip with upgraded summer tires, a GM 1.4L turbo engine further enhanced with a BNR performance tune (93 octane required) provides the go fast fun, the optional "bumpstick" gives you a manual option to the already quick shifting automatic transmission, ...all this to give you the feel of supercar performance in a small 1400lb package. A low glass windshield cuts just enough of the wind as not to blast you in the face, a thick leather wrapped steering wheel, heated seats and an upgraded Bluetooth audio system further round out the cockpit. This is certainly one fun ride you will want to drive again and again.

Guidelines

Don't worry about cleaning, this isn't your regular "run through the wash" type. Does not cover upholstery cleaning, spills, stains, pet hair, or smoke removal. Other notes: - The gas tank does not have an automatic shut off valve, be careful not to overfill. Also, 93 premium ONLY. - Do not leave key in vehicle as it will drain battery - If driving at night, there is glare from the gauges. Use 4th rocker switch to right to enable the dimmer - The rear tire does NOT have a fender, it will rooster tail water into the cockpit if you drive through water - Be careful of hot exhaust pipes entering and exiting the vehicle.

Faqs

  • How do I put it into gear and use the bumpstick?

The automatic transmission is just liek what your used to, but you have to push down to move into gear selection (P, R, N, D, M). M is for manual mode with allows use of the bumpstick. Push forward to downshift, Pull back to upshift.

  • What do I do if it starts to rain?

We suggest NOT driving this in the rain. If it starts to rain, please safely pull over to find cover. There is a storm cover included behind the passenger seat storage area if you can not find cover. Driving in a drizzle is fine, but heavy rain is unsafe as vehicle hydroplanes easily, visibility is drastically reduced and of course you will get soaked!

  • How do I get in it?

It's not the easiest, or prettiest thing to do, but once your in, it's totally worth it. First thing to note: DO NOT grab the windshield. The windshield is glass, and will crack easily with pressure. Use the rear roll hoops or seat backs to give you support as you put one leg in first, followed by the second and ease yourself into the seat using the sill and opposite seat for support if needed. Please be careful as not to drag your shoes across the vinyl sills as well, the mar and can tear easily.

  • What happens if I have vehicle trouble?

Contact me ASAP. If you need a tow, flat bed only.

  • How do I connect to the Bluetooth Audio System?

Car must be on and running to switch on the BT controller, search your BT devices for "MBT-RX". You will use your phone for all controls, there is a knob in center dash to control the volume. Please don't go past 3/4 gain, the audio is plenty loud.

  • Is this a motorcycle or a car?

The Vanderhall is classified as an "Autocycle", but follows motorcycle laws as per the state. No helmet is required in Texas. No motorcycle endorsment is required. You can also ride in HOV lanes.
