Description

Hello! This is a 2017 Chevy Bolt EV Premier. It’s lightly driven, with less than 40k miles on it, and well maintained, inside and out. The car features a spacious, airy interior with plenty of room for people, passengers, and cargo. The car has up to 239 miles of range (depending on driving and how cold it is). With zippy pickup and a low center of gravity, the Bolt EV is a fun drive, quick around town and cozy on highways. Please no smoking and no pets. Please return the car with at least 120mi of charge. Features: • 360° cameras • Blind spot detection • Heated steering wheel • Heated seats • Bluetooth • Android Auto • Apple Carplay • Wireless entry (just press the button on the doorhandles with the key in your pocket) • AUX Input Charging: • There are various commercial EV charging stations scattered all throughout KC, usually in parking lots. They can be found with various apps, but the most comprehensive one is Plugshare. • There is a Chargepoint card on the keyring for the car. It can be tapped to Chargepoint branded stations to get charging started once the car is plugged in. Charging fees from the included Chargepoint card will be billed to you via Turo after the trip. Other brands of chargers will work, but they all have their own apps and payment systems. • The charge port on the car is on the front left panel, ahead of the driver’s door. • The circular charging plug with five pins on the car is called a J-1772 (some charge stations might have additional connectors). • When using the circular J-1772 plug, the car will gain approximately 25mi of range per hour at its maximum power draw. • The car also includes a CCS/SAE Combo fast charger (which is the J-1772 plug mentioned above with the addition of a horizontal oval beneath with two pins in it), which can charge the car from 20% to 80% of battery in under an hour when plugged into a DC fast charging station. There is an orange flap over the bottom two pins on the socket on the car. • DC fast chargers can be found through various filters in apps. On Plugshare, they’re the orange pins on the map. • In the trunk, beneath the false floor, is a 240 volt charger, the same kind that commercial stations use. It plugs into a four-pronged NEMA 14-50 outlet, the kind used for ovens or laundry machines. Included is an adapter to plug into older, three-pronged 240 volt outlets. • There is also a 120v charger available beneath the carpet in the false floor. It can be used to plug the car into a regular wall socket, but charging is very slow. At max draw (12 amps), the 120v charger will add 4mi of range an hour, and because some home circuits can’t handle that, the car defaults to a lower draw level (8 amps). Most extension cables can’t handle this level of draw either, so if you need to use the 120v charger, plug it directly into the wall. • The chargers must still be in the car when returned. There will be a $500 replacement fee added if one is missing.
