You can pre-pay for a full tank, as a convenience so you don't have to wait in line at the gas station prior to your departure flight.

Enjoy your drive by: Staying alert, be on the look out for wild goats grazing roadside, and wild pigs. Both run randomly across the highway between Kona and Waimea. Upper and lower road. Slow down when you see them. No driving on any road requiring 4WD: Mauna Kea Summit. There are Law Enforcement Officers screening all vehicle's at the entry. Waipio Valley Road is Off Limits to ALL Visitors. Only Residents that live in the VWaipio Valley has access. NO DRINKING AND DRIVING. No camping in the car. You need a permit. NO SMOKING OR VAPING Premium gas please.

Our first time using Turo and all went very smoothly. Jocelyn is a very responsive and helpful host and answered all our questions. Car was in perfect condition.

This was my first time using Turo and Jocelyn made the process so simple. She communicated where the car would be (easy pick up at the airport) and even messaged me the next day to warn of high wind and to watch for fallen trees. Drop off was just as easy parking in the same spot at the airport and sending a few pictures. Would recommend her to anyone travelling to the big island!
