The car owner handed the car over to me with 219 miles on the odometer, and I returned it with 245 miles. Despite this, he charged me for gas. I absolutely refuse to accept this. Additionally, he told me to pick up the car from the parking lot and made me pay for the parking fee. However, when I returned the car, he told me to leave it on the sidewalk in front of the parking lot. This put me at risk of getting a ticket. Despite leaving plenty of gas and having photos to prove it, he charged me $50 (equivalent to one tank) for gas. It was a terrible experience; I definitely do not recommend it.
Turo handled the case and agreed that our charge was fair.
