Can I come earlier than scheduled to "Pick up" the car?
The vehicle can ONLY be picked up at the scheduled time. That way both the Driver and the Host are covered by Turo Insurance. If the driver wishes to modify the "Start Time" the app will allow the changes. Always confirm with the host.
Can I "Drop Off" the vehicle Earlier?
If it is within our business hours, Yes! the car can be dropped off earlier. Please always give the host a heads up notice.
What happens if I don't get the chance to fill the gas tank?
Vehicles must be returned with a full gas tank as it was provided for you at the beginning. However we under emergencies happen. In a situation like that, Turo applies a Gas fee of $10 plus the cost to fill the tank back up.
Can I extend my reservation time?
Yes, only if the vehicle does not have a future trip scheduled. Simply send a request to modify the trip and the host will confirm the changes.
What happens if I arrive late to return the vehicle?
Turo allows a grace period of 15-30 minutes to return the vehicle after the end time. Additional time is pro rated and charge as a late return fee.
Who can drive the car?
Only the person who rents the car is insured to drive the vehicle. If you would like for someone else to drive the car, please add them as a driver. You can do this on your dashboard of the TURO APP. Unfortunately, if this step is not completed this will cause insurance to be voided, and you will be personally liable for the full cost of any damage.
