Host was completely unresponsive prior to pickup. Then he was late greeting me after I arrived, his daughter answered the door and he emerged seemingly half asleep after I waited ten minutes. Then I saw the car. It was a wreck - massive dents and scratches everywhere. Inside was very dirty, including the inside of the windshield which ended up being a safety hazard due to glare. Check engine light was on. He told me not to worry. I was worried. I started up the car and noticed there was no gas. He then left me standing there with my bags while he went to fill up the tank, nearly 20 minutes! Honestly I should have left at that time, but I was running late to my college reunion and was getting desperate. The car managed to get me to my destination without breaking down, but I felt very unsafe driving it. I'm no mechanic, but it was not handling well and errors kept appearing on the dash. This guy should not be a Turo host. I feel qualified to say this because I am both a longtime Turo renter and was a host myself not so long ago. This was my worst experience by far.

Nice car! Just needs minor body work and some minor front end mechanical work but overall great vehicle!
