Experience the effortless acceleration of an electric car with this white-on-white Tesla Standard Range Plus! Whether you're considering purchasing a Tesla of your own or just want a fancy ride for a few days you won't be disappointed with this rental. Please feel free to message me with any Tesla/EV related questions and I'll be happy to answer/assist any way that I can. Here are some technical details... CAR NAME: Lucy FEATURES - Standard Range Plus (about 220 miles of range when fully charged) - Autopilot - Premium white leather heated seats - Entertainment package with Netflix, Hulu and Youtube - 18" wheels (aero covers optional) CLEANING - To make drop-off easier every trip has an automatic $20 basic cleaning fee applied (this does not cover deep upholstery cleaning, spills, stains, pet hair, or smoke removal) - Please do not take the car through an automatic car wash as it will damage the paint CHARGING - This Tesla will be ready to go with a minimum of 150 miles at time of rental (please return with at least 100 miles or purchase the pre-paid post trip EV charging) - A charging cable with multiple adapters will be included - Tesla recommends keeping the battery level between 10% - 80% to maximize longevity so please stay within this range if you are not driving long distance - In extremely cold weather, some of the stored energy in the battery may not be available because the battery is too cold. This energy loss is indicated by a snowflake icon and will become available as the battery pack warms up during your next drive. Be careful not to leave the car unplugged during cold weather while the battery is extremely low or else the vehicle may not power on. Nearby Superchargers can be located by touching the lightening bolt icon on the lower-right corner of the screen. Please unplug as soon as charging is complete at a Tesla Supercharger to avoid the idle fee of up to $1 per minute charged by Tesla which will be your responsibility. Charging 5% to 50% will take roughly 10 minutes (110 miles) Charging 50% to 80% will take roughly 13 minutes (180 miles) MORE TESLA INFO https://www.tesla.com/support/model-3-videos IMPORTANT STUFF - To preserve the white interior smoking and pets are not allowed inside this Tesla. A $250 cleaning fee will be applied if either of these are detected - Do not use an automatic car wash as it will damage the paint - You are responsible for toll charges - Plan your trip and know where you will be charging. Use the Tesla's navigation to know when and where you need to charge. The Tesla will warn you multiple times if you are close to depleting the battery. If you fully deplete the battery you will be charged a $250 fee per incident for excessive battery wear

Faqs

  • What range should the Tesla have when I return it?

Return the Tesla with at least 100 miles of range or purchase the post trip EV charging extra when making your reservation. If you choose the extra please return with at least 30 miles

  • What does Autopilot do?

Autopilot enables the car to steer, accelerate and brake automatically for other vehicles and pedestrians within its lane. Remember that it is not fully autonomous yet and you are responsible for watching your surroundings and taking control when necessary.

  • Where can I charge?

You can charge at home, any public charging station (adapters included), or at Tesla Superchargers. There are several Tesla Superchargers in the DFW area and hundreds spread across the US. You can find nearby Tesla Superchargers by touching the lightening bolt icon on the lower-right corner of the Tesla's screen or online here: https://tesla.com/findus

  • Do you have any Tesla tips?

    - Higher speeds and quicker acceleration decrease range (driving 70 or below is usually the sweet spot to maximize range) - There are several route planning apps you can use for long distance trips to minimize charge times . Let me know if you would like any recommendations - Tesla vehicles use energy while parked/idling at a rate of about 1% per day. Keep this in mind if leaving the car parked for an extended period of time

  • Where can I learn more about operating a Tesla and autopilot?

Tesla has several short clips on their website at: https://www.tesla.com/support/model-3-videos

  • How quick does the Model 3 charge?

Here are some charge speeds (in mph): - Tesla Supercharger: up to 700 miles per hour - 220v outlet (such as dryer outlet): 32 miles per hour - 110v outlet: 3 miles per hour

Lucille is BEAUTIFUL! Tesla has given a lot thought into making the electric car a great driving experience. The white on white interior of this Model 3 is awesome. Not to mention the cozy campfire mode that you can turn on while taking a 30 minute power nap on a Non-supercharging station!!!
