The Tesla Model 3 is the best EV on the market, offering performance (0 to 60 mph in 3.5 sec), comfort, safety, and fuel economy for a luxury mid-size car. Having a computer with a large touch screen to control most things in a car, a large map display and using lithium battery instead of gasoline on an internal combustion engine will change how we use a car! An Internet-connected car can do much more and be much more useful than just driving from A to B. Tesla’s Supercharger network is the most extensive across the U.S. and Canada, with the fastest average charging speed of 50 to 100KW. Tesla’s next generation V3 Superchargers will roll out at year end with charging speeds of 200-250KW, cutting charging time to 15 min. This Model 3 has the luxury interior (leather and heated seats, etc.) and extended battery range (310 miles) options, but does not yet have the autopilot function as the technology is still undergoing rapid changes. An All-Glass roof, 15” Touchscreen, minimalist front panel give you the most futuristic look and feel for a modern EV. The interior upgrade option that is included in this model has 12-way power adjustable heated premium seats, premium audio system, a panoramic glass roof, and 1 year of premium connectivity with live traffic satellite mapping, and media streaming. There are over 80 features and functions that the Tesla Model 3 has. The use of a powerful computer and a large display is the only way that this could have been implemented, as opposed to the traditional method of using knobs and buttons. Turo Liability Insurance Requirement: If you’re an experienced Tesla Driver - At least basic insurance is required. If you have no experience driving a Tesla - You are required to purchase premium insurance. You must return the car to the same location you picked up. If the car is towed, you must pay the towing fee. You will be charged for Supercharging at the end of your rental period. Customers are responsible for paying charging, tolls, and tickets costs when we request at the end of the trip. When you’re charging at the Supercharger, set a timer on your phone for 5 minutes earlier than the expected end time to avoid idle fees. You must remove the car from the supercharger when charging is finished or else you will incur a $250 idle fee. Tesla's service centers are only in the Bay Area.
