Late Return Fee ?
Please try to pickup and return the car on time and let us know as soon as possible if you will be running late. We would like to do our best to remain on schedule. If the car is returned passed the return time, we will do our best to accommodate extensions or delays if notified in advance. However, a late fee may be accessed at the owners discretion and if scheduling conflicts occur per Turo's regulations: *0-29 minutes late: No charge *30 minutes to 1 hour 59 minutes late: ½ the average daily trip price; $50* improper return fee at Turo’s discretion** *2 hours or more late: Average daily trip price for 1 day + $20* late return fee; $50* improper return fee at Turo’s discretion**
How does airport delivery work?
Airport delivery requires a guest to take a short ride to and from the airport to pick up the car. It is difficult to pick up at the terminal (Due to traffic and idling regulations). The pickup address will be sent after booking.
Tickets & Violations ?
Let us know about any tickets or violations you receive during your trip. Best practice is to pay the fines online as soon as possible. Failure to pay the ticket or violations in a timely manner will result in your responsibility for the cost of the ticket/violation plus a $30 processing fee. Kindly note processing tickets/violations is a time-consuming task, hence the processing fee to cover admin costs.
Charging?
1. You can charge at any Tesla SuperCharger location. This will be the fastest way to charge the vehicle. This charges at about 250/mi of range per hour. The vehicle computer will also direct you to nearby charging stations in-route during your trip. At the end of your charging session a price will be displayed on the screen that would be charged directly to us. The total charges will later be billed to you via Turo. ⚡️ Do not charge the car beyond 90% of its full capacity ⚡️Do not let the battery drop below 25% 2. You can charge at any EV charging location that has a Tesla plug or a J1772 plug. This typically charges at around 25/mi of charge per hour. The adapter for the J1772 plug is in the rear trunk. I typically use Chargepoint locations, but any other location is fine and some location may actually be free. Chargepoint requires you to use an app but setup only takes few minutes. 3. A regular outlet. The adapter for this is located in the trunk. This will be a lot slower than the other options of about 5/mi per hour.
