Priuses are great! If you've driven them, you know what we mean. If you haven't driven them, you're in for a treat. They are inexpensive to operate, smooth, easy to drive, technologically sophisticated. This Prius comes with Toyota's top-of-the-line package number six, which includes leather seats, GPS Navigation, hands-free phone capability via Bluetooth, AM/FM JBL CD with nine speakers in seven locations, auxiliary audio jack and MP3 / WMA playback capability, USB charger with your choice of Lightning or Micro USB connection,backup camera, cruise control, anti-theft system, auto-dimming rearview mirror, Smart Key System, and side curtain airbags! This car is dealer serviced according to Toyota's recommendations and is in great condition. Located by a Metrorail station, it is easy to get to by public transit (download the app at https://transitapp.com) and perfect for getting around the DC area!

Thank you for your rental! Below you will find our standard welcome message, a description of our COVID mitigation procedures, and vehicle information. STANDARD WELCOME MESSAGE We plan to meet you when you pick up and return the car at the appointed time at the West Falls Church Metro Station, 7040 Haycock Road, Falls Church--typically in the kiss and ride lot--be sure to turn on location sharing. (BEWARE--Google Maps may misdirect you to the middle of Interstate I66 or a town home parking lot instead of the West Falls Church Metro Station!!!). The delivery process includes taking photos, recording mileage and fuel level, explaining operation of the car, and answering any questions you may have. Pick up takes about ten minutes; return is much faster. We will deliver a clean and well maintained car and ask you to return it in the same condition. Let us make the following requests: -PLEASE USE THE TURO APP for communication when possible. -PLEASE TURN ON LOCATION SHARING IN THE APP (available an hour before the trip begins and ends) to help us meet up--we'll do the same. -PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOUR SCHEDULE CHANGES--we'll do the same. -PLEASE RETURN THE CAR IN THE CONDITION YOU RECEIVED IT. -PLEASE CONTACT US IMMEDIATELY IF UNFORSEEN THINGS HAPPEN—collisions, flat tires, lost fobs, etc. Do not repair or replace any item on this car. If circumstances arise and we are not present when you pick up the car, we will place the key fob in a lock box in the car attached to the steering wheel and driver's metal seat belt clip and tell you where the car is located. The car will be unlocked. To comply with Turo's requirements, please use the app to send a photo of your drivers license and a photo of your license held up next to your face. Once we have received the two photos described above, we will send you code for the lock box. Open the driver's door, enter the lock box code, retrieve the key fob and store the lock box and foil in the center console. Push the inside lever to detach the lock box from the metal seat belt clip.  We expect to be present when you return the car but if we are not present, please place the fob behind the gas cap door, lock the vehicle, and tell us where the vehicle is located. COVID MITIGATION PROCEDURE According to information from the CDC, the virus that causes COVID most commonly spreads between people who are in close contact with one another (within about 6 feet, or 2 arm lengths). It spreads through respiratory droplets or small particles, such as those in aerosols, produced when an infected person coughs, sneezes, sings, talks, or breathes. We will wear a mask, maintain a social distance, and open doors and windows in order to reduce the risk of transmission. VEHICLE INFORMATION About Priuses: -Unlocking: with the fob in your possession the car will automatically unlock and the interior lights will automatically come on when you pull the door handle; -Locking: you can lock the car with the fob, by pushing the button on the outside driver door handle, and by pressing the rocker switch on the armrest on the inside of the drivers door. -Starting the car: to start the car, put your foot on the brake, press and release the power button; the interior lights will go off automatically; -Gears: the gear shift will always return to the same position--you know what gear the car is in by looking at the dash (the camera will come on when you are in reverse); -Park: "park" is a separate button; -To turn off the car: put your foot on the brake and press the power button; -Headlights: the headlights will be on when you get the car--they will go off automatically when you turn the car off; -Bluetooth: the car has Bluetooth, which supports mobile phone, music (2010 and newer vehicles), Google Maps, and Waze audio etc.; -Bluetooth connection (if equipped): to connect to Bluetooth: on the multi-function display: press info, telephone, settings, Bluetooth, register; the device will appear in your phone as the last four digits of the car's license plate; -Aux cable: the car has an auxiliary cable which supports music; use "mode" button on steering wheel to switch from AM, FM, auxiliary; -USB charger; -Temperature: the car has a thermostat to maintain a constant temperature; -Fuel: use regular fuel; fill gas on left side; cap door release lever by driver's left heel; -Insurance: the insurance, registration and inspection documents are in the glove box. Loved the car and owner. Drove to N.C from D.C (400+ miles one way/ 7.5 hours one way) Breaks are amesing, stereo was amesing, saved alot on gas. Great Ride!!! Thank you so much!
