To unlock the car, you must send 2 pictures. 1) a solo shot of your license. 2) a selfie in front of the vehicle holding your license close to your face. When uploaded to the app, we will give the lockbox code or remote unlock the doors pending which car you booked.

I recently rented a car through Toro, and overall, it was a decent experience. The vehicle itself was in good working condition and drove smoothly, which I appreciated. However, there was some noticeable cosmetic damage on the car that was a bit of a bummer. The owner was upfront about it, which I respect, but it did take away from the overall appearance.
Despite that, the car served its purpose, and the rental process was straightforward. If you’re looking for functionality over aesthetics, this could still be a good option. Thanks to the owner for being transparent and letting me use the car!
